About Ayr India Town Centre
Ayr India Town Centre is an Indian restaurant at 1A Alloway Pl in the town centre, run as a hands-on operation where the owner also waits tables and guides guests through the menu. The kitchen keeps its offering to a smaller, curated set of Indian favourites rather than a sprawling list, and a two-course deal is advertised on a sign out front. Meals are taken in the dining room, with collection and delivery also available through the takeaway and delivery side of the business. A complimentary drink is offered on occasion, including for birthday visits. The setting is a straightforward town-centre spot, and the service style leans personal, with dish recommendations delivered at the table by the owner rather than from a printed wait list.

“Decided to eat her as had drove passed earlier and saw sign which stated 2 courses for £17 all day. When we arrived later read the smaller print on the sign which said.... until 3pm, im sorry but that is misleading, however we thought we are here so would give it a go. Ordered and food arrived very quickly, food itself was piping hot and very good but when 1 of us had finished eating the waitress cleared some of the plates away which I believe is wrong as they should wait till everyone has finished, had a complimentary bailey's to finish All in all felt a little rushed but would recommend as food was good.”

“The food itself was ok and so was the service. However we were a bit shocked with the price for water. I ordered just water which usually results in tap water or I am asked if I want bottled. To my surprise they gave me a small bottle of water costing 4 pounds. This was also not disclosed before they opened it as we did not even have our menus yet. So be careful ordering here and always ask beforehand.”

“Visited on a Saturday night with friends. We were served quickly for drinks, the menu is good with fewer options but a good variety of Indian favourites. Our server (the owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming. He explained parts of the dishes and recommended some choices. The food was very good! I would recommend a visit.”

“Had the best Indian food here tonight! Absolutely amazing and our waiter Sagar was so friendly. Even got a complimentary drink for my birthday! We will definitely be back when back in Ayr”
