Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return to the Ramble Inn above all for its huge portions of pub grub, with the gammon described as enough to feed two. Diners name stuffed pork with mash and vegetables, chicken goujons, honey chilly chicken with fries, and beer battered cod and chips, and one calls the steak sandwich the best they have tasted. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and attentive without interrupting, with one party noting they were taken in and served even when arriving late in the day. Several say the price felt very reasonable for the quantity and quality, and one group reports little wait after ordering. Others mention vegetarian and allergy friendly options, with the breaded brie and garlic bread singled out, and a friendly, warm atmosphere in a place full of character. No complaints appear in the reviews. One family of seven liked the puddings so much that they waited for other tables to clear and went back in for more.

“This eating establishment is 5* food without a doubt! We [a group of 6] visited on 6th April '26 and we were not one bit disappointed, from our arrival until we left was nothing short of a perfect dinning experience! The staff were all so friendly and the food orders were absolutely huge portions plus the presentation was 100% the taste was "melt in your mouth" all of what we had was absolutely delicious, and the bonus we did not have too long to wait after we had ordered! .Also the value for money was tremendous..........Very well done to all at The Ramble Inn ,would absolutely recommend to Friends & Family , the 'go to' place for good pub grub at its finest .”
