Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the draw reviewers raise most, with generous plates and good value, including an American stack with maple syrup and bacon that arrived hot and quickly, and a breakfast where staff handled a gluten allergy well. Close behind are big dinner portions, with the Veggie Fajitas called tasty, and one table sharing starters, a side and a main could not finish it all. Cocktails and a shot of baby Guinness get praise, and staff are repeatedly called lovely, with a large group catered for without difficulty. Complaints are fewer but specific. One diner waited with no menu offered and was served long after a friend, another found the Chicken Carbonara hot in the middle and room temperature at the edges, and one thought the meat tough. One reviewer suggests booking a table. Another noted the first hot drink with breakfast is free, and had hot chocolate with cream.

“Visited on a Saturday, good food and generous portions, and it was easy to talk. Friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of choice on the menu. The Veggie Fajitas were tasty. The Chicken Carbonara was ok, unfortunately it and the plate was hot in the middle and room temperature at the edges. The building is an eclectic mix of brick, wood, corrugated iron and polycarbonate sheeting.”

“Absolutely love this place! Clean, professional and very welcoming service. Food superb and big portions too. Their drinks menu is very reasonable too. (Try the shot of baby Guinness for £4.50!!!) MAM”

“My friend and I stopped here for dinner. After waiting a couple of minutes, the waitress told us to take a table inside the bar. We waited and waited, but no one brought a menu, so I went to get one. My friend's food was served long before mine; he had just finished when they brought mine. It wasn't nice, and we paid a fair amount. The service was poor; we would hardly go back. Maybe it's okay for drinks, but unfortunately not for food.”

“Dropped in on a Tuesday evening for an unplanned meal. We hadn't really done much research before visiting but the food far surpassed our expectations. We ordered two starters, a side and a main to share and it was more food than we could manage. Everything was delicious - the mix of flavours in each dish was great and it all came together nicely. We will be back again another time!”
