Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, lovely staff, with a welcoming landlady who made a fuss of one visitor's dog. Close behind are the plenty of seating, the recently refurbished interior, and the pool table and darts room with its twinkly lights, plus a karaoke night on a Saturday. Walkers mention cold beers after a hike to Llandybie and a pitstop on the way back from a dog walk. Reviewers note the pub does not serve food, and one visitor was directed by locals to a café instead. The complaints are more serious. One reviewer who uses crutches reports falling down the entrance step, cutting an arm and hands, and says one staff member brought a chair and dressed the injuries while another was ranting about calling the police. Another calls it the wrong pub for the village, saying it attracts troublemakers who can't hold their drink. One visitor praised the staff for directing them to the café.

“Was told they don't serve food but staff were pretty nice, thankfully some of the locals in the pub directed us to a really fab local café instead. Unsure if they do or don't serve food... we've been turned away by a couple pubs already for being obvious English tourists (very unfortunately as looks like a nice pub.) Parking is on the main road only from what we could see.”
