  “A lovely little cafe spot with some delicious food! Our waitress was a lovely young lady who had some divine manners and treat us with respect and answered our queries about the menu. And if you get chance, definitely have some of the cakes to try too, they are unreal 😍 Truly a lovely little place for a bite to eat ❤️🥰”

  “A wonderful market square location in Alnwick.Second time we have visited and had to return.From the warm welcome to full tummies we certainly enjoy visits.The hot chocolate with marshmallows is to die for says me Mr fatty 🤣whilst my wife enjoyed her flat ☕ coffee. Food wise wife opted for Cumberland sausages with Yorkshire pudding & lashings of gravy whilst I succumbed to baked potato and chilli with salad.Both meals went down thoroughly well. A lovely small inside seating area to watch the hustle and bustle of life.Staff lovely and ensured our visit was an enjoyable one. This has now become our go to place in Alnwick with a great menu for all. Seating areas outside most welcoming too. So very highly recommended 👌 by us both 😉”

  “Food quite acceptable for a cafe. Took a while to arrive at the table, but it was a busy time and probably one one cook. Just enough room to sit, but if all seats were being used, I think it would feel quite cramped. There was outside seating if preferred. Would go back though.”

  “I hoenstly can't remember too much about the experience, and the pictures are from 2023. But... I do remember the food being amazing! Can't remember the prices. Can't remember the service. But I remember the food being absolutely delicious. That says it all.”

  “Me and my partner went here this morning 09/08/26 and the food was great not long wait for it but the way the staff were talking about customers was disgusting. First thing I noticed was when I requested items off my plate as I do not like them she gave me a dirty look and spoke with attitude. After this another customer came in and asked for a poached egg without certain things, the staff member proceeded to walk back into the cafe and spoke rudely about her order “is she for real I told her she has to pay full price and she was happy with that” we heard the chef say that he will give her some extras on the side and the staff said “no it’s free money at the end of the day” the lady who ordered this then came back in and requested something which was when the staff members began to whisper about how she was dressed and how she looked. I am honestly disgusted in this as I work with the public myself and would never speak about them in this manner it is completely lack of skills and manners. I will not be visiting this place again and would not recommend it to anyone as I don’t want them to feel uncomfortable the way I did.”

  “Stopped by when walking the town. Service was good, staff pleasant, we had pie and mash with gravy, and a lasagne. Food was good and pricing reasonable, much less than you'd pay in a pub for the same thing. Zero complaints here.”
