  “I had an appointment for highlights and a haircut. It was particularly important to me that the result looked natural and that my roots would grow out softly without needing to touch up the color after just two months. I clearly communicated this beforehand and showed them several reference pictures – including examples I liked as well as those that definitely didn't match my expectations. Ultimately, the coloring was done only on the top of my head, which hadn't been discussed with me beforehand. To better assess the color and the transition, I asked them to blow-dry my hair straight, as I naturally have curly hair. After the coloring and cut were finished, I already had a clearly visible and, to me, unnatural root line instead of a soft, natural transition. I wanted to give myself some time to assess the result and went home. However, it became even more apparent there that the roots already looked very unnatural. About two hours after leaving the salon, I went back and raised the issue again in person. I specifically explained that the transition looked too unnatural and the roots too noticeable, and asked if we could find a solution. I was then told that my hair had been blow-dried straight and that the roots wouldn't be visible with my natural curls. Although I was skeptical, I went along with it at the time, as I wanted to trust the professional assessment and expertise. We agreed that I could contact them again if the result still didn't meet my expectations after washing. Unfortunately, the roots were still very visible even after washing (see photos, 4 days after the salon visit). Furthermore, other people commented on it. Since I generally find it difficult to express criticism, I subsequently contacted Linh again via social media to try and find a solution together. Unfortunately, I haven't received a reply to my message to this day. I find it particularly disappointing that I didn't feel heard as a customer, even though I tried several times to communicate my concerns and find a solution together. I'm giving two stars because I was satisfied with the haircut. Overall, however, I'm disappointed with the experience and wouldn't visit the salon again.”

  “I FINALLY found my salon in Cologne! Linh and his brother Don have a beautifully-decorated salon that makes you feel like a special client. Don listens to you, takes his time, and, in addition to a beautiful cut, the blow dry makes you feel like a QUEEN. The cherry on top: the price is very reasonable!”
