Customer Review Summary
Diners consistently come for the immersive underwater atmosphere, describing the experience of eating beside a massive fish tank filled with tropical sea creatures, stingrays, and sharks as the primary draw. Many highlight the up-close views of a 500-pound grouper and other exotic marine life, with several noting the added surprise of seeing tigers on the premises. The food receives frequent praise, with specific dishes like the Ahi Tuna Nachos, Trout Del Sol, shrimp scampi ravioli, and the castaway combo appetizer singled out for their flavor and presentation. Service is a recurring strength, with multiple reviewers describing servers as attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the animals, often going out of their way to answer questions and accommodate food allergies. However, a few diners report significant friction around seating and wait times, with one party who booked days in advance still waiting 20 minutes without a server and receiving a window seat they considered poor despite their reservation.

“Hubby made reservations a couple of days ahead. We show up 10 mins ahead of time. They seat us by the windows. Let me remind you… this is an aquarium restaurant and we booked days in advance, so you’d think better seats maybe…? We get seated and we wait and wait and wait. 20 mins go by and no waiter. No drinks. No bread. No interaction. I finally grab a staff member walking by. She said she’ll have someone right over. We do finally get a super nice gentleman to help us. He was so kind! Food was superb>>Very good! I am more so giving low stars for the wait and the horrible seating placement for someone that booked ahead.”

“Loved watching the fish while eating. Dined next to a 500 lb grouper. Also, stingrays, sharks, giant fish. .. discovered a new one, the guitar fish. So fun. Tasha was super friendly and helped me with my food allergy. Food was good. Everyone was happy with their meal. Much better than the long John’s silver cod back home 🤣 …”

“We are down from Ohio and we wanted to visit the aquarium on our last day here. So very glad we did! The aquarium was an absolutely amazing experience, and we went to the restaurant at the end. And the food was delicious!! We got the castaway combo for our appetizer. The hubby got the seafood stir fry and I got the shrimp scampi ravioli. The flavors were incredible and our experience was made so much better by our waiter, Oliver. He was very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the animals in the aquarium we were seated by. Made sure he answered all of our questions, gave us tourists attractions to visit, and always made sure we were doing good and refilled our drinks. It was overall an amazing experience for someone who’s from out of town. Highly recommend this place for the entire experience! Thank you Oliver for taking care of us and for just being a great human being. Keep up the amazing work!”
