Customer Review Summary

Reviewers consistently return for the intricate, thoughtfully crafted cocktails, with several highlighting the extensive menu organized by flavor profiles and the bartenders' dedication to matching patrons to their ideal drink. Specific drinks mentioned include a modified Manhattan and the Moving Target, while the chocolate chip cookies earn praise as a standout snack. Close behind the drinks, the service receives frequent acclaim for its warmth and professionalism, particularly when sitting at the bar to watch the mixologists work. The primary caveat centers on the atmosphere: multiple reviewers find the music too loud and the room too dark, which can stifle conversation and obscure the craftsmanship. A few also note that the drinks can be hit or miss, and one wished for more explanation of the complex ingredients. Several reviewers suggest making a reservation, as walk-in waits can stretch over two hours on busy nights. The recurring detail that anchors the experience is the bartenders' ability to craft bespoke drinks based simply on a patron's stated preferences.

A Sunday night at Death & Co. Each drink was intricate, thoughtful, and impeccably executed, complex yet beautifully balanced. What made the evening truly exceptional, however, was the service. Kyler, Seth, Tom, Dante, and Max delivered a level of hospitality that was both gracious and deeply personal. Their warmth, expertise, and attention to detail made an outstanding experience unforgettable.

It was just ok. Ordered two cocktails, the chips and dip (good but not special), tuna and chips (I did not like this), oysters (good but TINY), and this saddest cheese plate presentation I’ve seen. The cocktails were decent but not something I’d go out of my way for. Service is great!

Amazing bar! Chase was making our drinks, I decided to let him make drinks based on what I liked and every single one was delicious and unique. Truly a fantastic bartender. Great service, the host was very friendly, great atmosphere.

Reservations highly recommended. Even late at night. This place is busy busy. We arrived around 11:30-midnight 🌙 and they were telling us we may not be able to get seats. Thankfully someone didn’t show up for their reservation. 😅 We got a table. Ordered drinks. Ordered chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 The cocktails are delicious but very complex. Chocolate chip cookies were delicious 🤤 🍪 3/5 overall. I wish it wasn’t so loud. We needed more explanation on the ingredients in our drinks. This place is known nationally for expertly crafted cocktails, but I felt the experience lacked that ‘bartender and customer connection/communication.’ 🤐 I was anticipating a more immersive experience due to the quality of ingredients and components they use for their cocktails. 🍹 The atmosphere is 3/5. Music too loud. Room too dark. I wanted to experience the craftsmanship of amazing cocktails and it was hidden by low light and loud music.
