  “I was on a getaway in AC for my bday! I didn’t have time to get my hair done. I attempted to do it myself and really did a horrible job at dying my hair. I was not happy and everytime I looked at the mirror I would feel more upset. Fast forward….. we were passing by one of the streets in AC and I happened to see Mayra’s Beauty Dominican Salon. I know my Dominican ladies have amazing hands for hair. My husband said, go find out price and info. I did. Immediately I explained my situation, Mayra looked at my hair, told me what she could do, and in less than 2 hours I was done, VERY HAPPY, and def a satisfied customer. Mayra was so pleasant, the other ladies as well and even offered coffee.. lol.. Over all, I left the place super satisfied and if I lived in AC, this salon would be my salon! I HIGHLY recommend Mayra’s Dominican Beauty Salon. The price was perfect and the treatment was the best! I felt extra beautiful the rest of my bday getaway 🤭I wish Mayra the very best in her salon! God bless you always Mayra..If I have to drive 2 hours to get to this salon, I would!! ! 5 stars rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  “Let me just say—DO NOT overpay at the hotel salons. This place is a hidden gem and an absolute wow! I was greeted with coffee, then treated to a relaxing head massage and hair wash. From there, my hair was styled two ways—braided on one side and pin-straight on the other—and it looked amazing. The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating, even working with me despite my limited Spanish. I can’t wait to schedule again the next time I’m in town.”
