  “I didn’t have to wait, but I also got there at opening. Only took my nail tech 45 minutes to do French tip on acrylic with a little design. Only probably was it seemed really expensive for what I got. It’s a good salon with a good atmosphere but I probably would go somewhere else next time to get a better deal.”

  “I am very upset with my experience today. I shared a photo of the design I wanted and specifically asked for a nude base before we even started. Not only was the reindeer done on white instead of nude, but the tech also started putting the design on the wrong finger and didn’t believe me until she pulled up the picture on her phone. I also asked for square nails with rounded corners since I have kids. The acrylic was uneven—rounded on top in a way it shouldn’t be, and she still did not round the corners like I requested. The overall shaping was inconsistent and not what I asked for. The design itself is just okay, but the most concerning part is that she cut me with the file, causing me to bleed, and then continued drilling over the same area at a later time. It was painful, and now I’m having to use Neosporin and a bandage. One of my nails isn’t glued smoothly to the tip (my thumb- pictured) , which means it will likely break early and collect bacteria underneath. Just not acceptable. And before anyone wonders why I didn’t speak up more in the moment—the truth is, I had already mentioned several issues, and so many things were going wrong that I was genuinely afraid she would get frustrated and not complete my nails properly if I kept correcting her. It did not feel like a welcoming or comfortable environment. I’m really disappointed because this has been the only place I’ve gone for my nails since moving to Grand Island, but after today, I will not be returning.”
