About Soho Nails

Soho Nails is a nail salon on Spartanburg Hwy in Hendersonville, offering manicures and pedicures alongside eyebrow threading for customers who want both services in one stop. The salon operates Monday to Saturday and stays closed on Sundays. Appointments are recommended, though walk-ins may be accepted, and those without a booking are typically seen right away. Tips are handled in cash only, separate from the card or other payment used for the service itself. The combination of nail care and threading under one roof lets clients handle grooming needs together rather than visiting separate shops. The schedule runs six days a week, giving a wide window for booked or walk-in visits throughout the week.

Customer Review Summary

Eyebrow threading draws repeated praise, with several reviewers naming one threading specialist as a new favorite and returning to her for years, and describing the team as clean and family friendly. Close behind, pedicures and walk-in manicures get positive mentions, including a walk-in autumn green polish done immediately and two staff members singled out for taking pride in the business. But full nail sets are a recurring sore point: reviewers describe uneven, pointy, or too-short shapes compared to their reference photo, nails filed down so far they turned brittle and broke for months afterward, and a blue-and-pink set with crooked nails and thin product that still felt overpriced for a flower and pearl design. One reviewer also reports a cuticle made to bleed with no acknowledgment, being finished with a nearly empty polish bottle that chipped within a day, and an uncomfortable cash-tipping exchange. Several say they would return only for pedicures, threading, or one specific technician rather than for a full set.

“i walked in they took care of me right away; i dont mind having something changed because i am getting something simple. i wanted a nice set of blue and pink nails which im not complaining of the color, i am complaining that some of the nails are not straight. and another reason would be because of having not enough product on my nails either. i think for the set i got i was overcharged because of the flower maybe? and a couple pearls? which also the set took about 2 1/2 hours so maybe for that reason might be the price too. no hate to any of the nail techs they were really nice and the lady was very careful and listened if anything was too much (which i wish i could have tipped but i did not have any cash for her) i think i could have gotten something more simple for the picture or created something easier but the lady acted like she could handle doing it. wont be going back unless i want something easy done”

“I prefer to get my eyebrows threaded, and I heard that Soho Nails had someone that did. So I made my way over here, and I was not disappointed! Rekha did a phenomenal job!! I have my specific spots that I like to go to so I was bit nervous to go to someone new, but Rekha is now my new favorite eyebrow threading lady!!”

“I only get my nails done once every 6 months (for family photos) so I don’t have a regular nail person. I decided to try Soho nails back in April 2026 and I am still dealing with the aftermath. All I got was a REGULAR POLISH! but the girl filed the tops of my nails down so far that they are so brittle and breaking as they grow out. It has been painful and months of ugly fingers that I am scared to have done again. Photos are of when I walked out of the salon. She saw they were already messed up on the tip because she bumped it and she literally just shrugged. The last two photos you can see the difference in my nail height as they were growing out. It’s been literal months April-July.. I highly DO NOT recommend this salon.”

“I had a disappointing experience here and unfortunately wouldn't return. For the manicure itself, the technician seemed unhappy from the moment I sat down. I chose a basic manicure and while I can't know the reason, I felt like I was treated as though I was less valuable than someone purchasing a more expensive service. There was very little interaction throughout the appointment, which wouldn't bother me except that she made my cuticle bleed and never acknowledged it or checked to make sure I was okay. I also noticed midway through the manicure that my polish bottle appeared to be nearly empty. The technician was repeatedly hitting the bottle against the table, and when I asked about it, she confirmed that there was very little polish left. Had I been told upfront, I would have happily chosen another color. Instead, the manicure was completed with the nearly empty polish, which chipped quickly. Within a day, I removed the polish at home and redid my nails myself. Beyond the manicure, the overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. My technician appeared to have difficulty hearing, which is completely fine, but it would have been helpful to know so communication could be adjusted accordingly. What was more concerning was that other employees made comments and behaved toward her in a way that came across as pitying in front of customers, which felt unprofessional and potentially embarrassing for her. While my nails were drying, another employee approached me and asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. When I declined and jokingly explained that my brows are already thin, she responded that I needed a tint. I found this unnecessary and inappropriate. I've also heard similar experiences from friends, including being told their brows didn't look good or having more eyebrow hair removed than they requested, and they had to leave the salon very upset. Finally, I was uncomfortable with the tipping process. The salon only accepts cash tips. When paying, I asked for four $5 bills from my change so I could leave a 20% tip. Instead, I was handed a single $5 bill in front of the technician, which made it awkward and left me feeling pressured to leave a much larger tip despite being dissatisfied with the service. Overall, the issues weren't limited to the quality of the manicure. Between the cuticle injury, the use of nearly empty polish, the uncomfortable comments about appearance, and the awkward tipping experience, the visit felt unprofessional from start to finish.”
