  “I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. The owner personally did my TAP Hybrid Gel nails. During the appointment, she forgot to apply the bonder before curing my nails under the UV light. Within days, multiple nails began breaking and lifting. Over the first week, I had to return several times to have broken nails repaired. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this. At one point, one of my nails broke completely off while the tip remained attached to my natural nail. In all my years of getting my nails done, that has never happened before. Prior to coming here, I regularly went to the owner’s sister’s salon and never once had a nail break or fail like this. The difference in quality was very noticeable. While getting my nails done, the owner made comments that made me uncomfortable, including statements that came across as though I should only be coming to her salon instead of continuing to go to her sister’s salon. Saying things like “I own you now”. I found those comments unprofessional. During my appointments, I also personally witnessed multiple customers come into the salon unhappy with their services and asking for refunds, which added to my concerns. Because my nails kept breaking, I had to return multiple times for repairs. When I returned again after more nails broke, I was told I would have to pay. I explained that I did not believe I should be charged for repairs resulting from problems with the original service. I was still willing to tip the technician who worked on my nails, but I did not feel it was fair to pay additional money for issues that should not have happened in the first place. The situation escalated, and I was physically pushed out of the salon while being threatened with the police. I told the owner she was welcome to call them. I also explained that I had photos, dates, and records documenting the repeated failures of my nails and would be willing to provide that evidence if necessary. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. Instead of taking responsibility and working toward a solution, I was treated with disrespect. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.”
