“Food Lion for groceries, a Walgreens for pharmacy goods, and a Lowe's for home improvements and hardware. Can be difficult to exit, but if you are heading west towards Perryville there's a new exit next to the Chipotle that avoids the Rt. 272/Rt. 40 bottleneck”

“Great Staff, but Shelves Often Too Empty Food Lion in North East, MD has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff around. Every time I shop here, the employees are pleasant, and overall the customer service is solid. That said, the biggest frustration is how often the shelves and cases aren’t fully stocked. It can be difficult to get everything on your list. They rarely have enough Stouffer’s turkey dinners, cream is hit or miss, and even when coffee is on sale, the shelf can be completely bare. It’s disappointing to see a sale advertised but not be able to purchase the product. When I asked for a raincheck for the sale coffee, I also felt a bit of pushback — which was frustrating. If an item is being advertised, customers shouldn’t feel uncomfortable asking for the sale price when it’s out of stock. Overall, the staff is great, and I do appreciate the store, but the inventory challenges make shopping here less reliable than it should be. With more consistent stocking, it would easily be a five-star experience.”
