  “This was one of the most unprofessional salon experiences I have ever had. The day before my appointment, I called specifically to ask for pricing on a blowout with my extensions installed. I was asked how long my extensions were and was quoted $75–$85. I was never told “and up,” nor was I informed that prices are not given over the phone. During my appointment, my hair was washed extremely roughly, which caused my extensions to tangle. I had to correct the person washing my hair and explain how my extensions should be handled. After being placed under the dryer, no one checked on me when I was finished. Before my hair was even completed, I was asked to pay. I was then told the total was $120, which was significantly higher than the price I was quoted. When I questioned this, I was told it was “$75–$85 and up,” which was never communicated beforehand. This is misleading and unacceptable. The next morning, I woke up to my hair matted and tangled into my natural hair, forcing me to return to the salon. When I expressed my concerns and asked about either receiving a refund or having my hair fixed, I was told to come back in. When I returned, the flat iron was set to 400 degrees. I had to stop the stylist and tell her not to use that temperature because it would burn my extensions. This should not have been necessary—proper heat settings and hair protection should be standard practice. While there, I observed staff preparing to overcharge another client. I spoke up and explained that the reason I was back was due to being overcharged myself. At that point, a man entered the conversation, claimed he was the owner, and stated that they do not give prices over the phone. I explained that I wasn’t given a price range, and the situation escalated, making it seem as though I was being accused of lying. I clearly stated that this would be my last time ever coming to this salon. The owner responded that he didn’t care, became argumentative, and refused to issue a refund. His behavior was dismissive, hostile, and completely unprofessional. Although my hair was fixed during that visit, the lack of accountability, careless handling of hair, misleading pricing, and disrespectful treatment by management ensures that I will never return. I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other appropriate agencies.”

  “I got a deep condition and roller set with no appointment and was taking care of immediately. Everyone is so nice and efficient. I had to leave for an emergency and came back and I was still taking care of 6 hours later! Such a great spot I will be returning frequently”

  “Odalis Is sooo sweet & kind!! She took me as a walk-in and I had somewhere to go, so she did my hair swiftly and still made my hair flawless!! The environment was great, and the stylist were kind as well. Luciana gave me a great wash, I was very relaxed!!! I will definitely be coming back :)!”

  “I absolutely love getting my hair done here. Sad that I moved out of state because I’m most comfortable having my hair straightened by Mrs.odalis. I have 3c/b ish hair , thick, and longer than 16’in and she gets my hair right every time.highly recommend 10/10. I DO NOT RELAX MY HAIR so when I say it be perfection it’s exactly that. I will be there typically about 2 1/2hrs simply because again thick hair an it’s long. I always do a deep conditioning an trimming since I only go every 5-6months . Staff is awesome on top of courteous an I been loyal to her shop the last 3years roughly .”

  “Beware!!!!! If you are black and have textured hair do not come here!!! They do not know how to wash and detangle hair if you have type 4 hair. The way my hair was washed caused extreme matting and then they use combs to try to detangle. …”
