“Visited the area for Strawberry Fest this year. We enjoyed walking around and browsing all of the vendors, and the festival itself had a fun, lively atmosphere. That said, we left feeling disappointed because there wasn’t much that actually felt “strawberry” themed. We were expecting fresh strawberries, strawberry desserts, jams, baked goods, or other strawberry-related products, but the only strawberry item we found was chocolate-covered strawberries and fritters. It felt more like a general craft fair than a Strawberry Fest. If you’re going to shop local vendors and enjoy a nice walk, it’s worth checking out. Just don’t go expecting a festival centered around strawberries.”

“I mainly go to Long Grove to buy popcorn. I was happy to see that Sock Monkey Snack Co is making the popcorn that Signature Popcorn used to make. On the south end of Stempel Parking Lot, there is an observation deck next to Buffalo Creek. It sounds like an aviary back there.”
