“I’ve been going to Shiva’s Salon since 2012 when I used to live in Rogers Park. Now 2026, I travel all the way from the South Loop to get my haircut by Shiva (I get my eyebrows periodically threaded). She’s the absolute sweetest, she always cuts my hair the way I like it and has helped me with my healthy hair journey as I embrace my natural curly hair. I also love that she cuts all hair textures and people of all ethnicities. I’m def a loyal customer. I highly recommend Shiva. She’s the best!”

“The worst haircut I’ve ever had. My hair now looks like that awkward stage when someone is trying to grow it out — uneven and messy. The cut is literally lopsided, with one side longer than the other. Honestly, if I had cut it myself, it probably would’ve turned out better. Now I just have to wait for it to grow out so I can fix it.”
