“Really frustrating experience. I am newly bald and looking to start wearing wigs. I've been to many hair supply stores in my life though, as I was an avid hair extension user myself and I do my nieces hair monthly. (I've been to this location a few times before for a quick supply run for her) I have always had a difficult time wearing wigs because of my odd hairline and small forehead, but now that I am completely bald I wanted to try some wigs on in person to specifically test different hairline and lace styles to see how my hairline shown through. I drove out of my way to get to this store today because it had the best reviews in the area. Parking when I got there took 15 minutes to find a spot 4 blocks away. All that to say that when I finally got in there I was ready and very excited to finally try on some wigs. I picked up the first wig to try and an associate came over and told me I needed a wig cap in order to try on. I said oh of course no problem, I didn't think to ask for one since I am literally bald but makes sense for cleanliness so I said yes for sure I'll take one to wear. He hands me one that is black and says I need to pay for it to use it. I said okay fine I'll pay for it but I would like a flesh toned one please because my entire purpose for coming there is to test lace types and how my hairline shows through. If I put a pitch black cap on I won't be able to do that. He comes back with a flesh tone one but tells me that one is double to price......okay fine. I take it and put it on and finally pick up my first random wig to get started. He THEN tells me 'Oh by the way there's a try on limit of three wigs'......????? I said are you kidding me? We just went through this whole conversation about why I am here, and had me pay extra for a flesh tone wig cap, and only when I place the first wig on my head are you going to tell me I can only try on two more??? He then said "okay I'll let you try five then" !! The whole thing felt shady and honestly just annoying from a customer standpoint who the hell, especially a new time wig owner, is making a large investment in a wig after only trying three-five on????? Sure as hell not me. I've been to many beauty supply stores with friends of mine who were able to try on whatever they liked ... because that's how you foster a good returning customer experience and how you give your customer confidence to invest in your product. This place lost me as a customer for any kind of product and unless your stopping here for just a few quick hair styling supplies I would not recommend coming here, especially for buying wigs.”
