About Salon Envy
On W Main St in Visalia, Salon Envy is a beauty salon that takes clients on a walk-in basis rather than by appointment. Visitors can stop in without booking ahead, making the salon straightforward to visit around other errands on the same street. As a beauty salon, the business covers the general range of services associated with that category, with the walk-in format shaping how the space runs day to day. The counter staff handle guests as they arrive, and the walk-in structure remains the clearest way to describe how the salon operates for anyone planning a visit.

Customer Review Summary
The hair coloring service is the most talked-about draw at Salon Envy, though reviewers are split on it: several describe stylists producing well-toned, dark color that holds, while an equal number recount color jobs that faded within days, a blonde toner that turned brassy, and one stylist who reportedly blocked a client rather than answer follow-up questions about the service. Two other reviewers report paying a large sum for hairpieces meant to match their natural color, only to receive a mismatched dye job. Alongside these color complaints, individual services draw praise: one reviewer credits a stylist with 'perfection' on her cut over five years, another highlights the pumpkin facial and eyebrow shaping from an esthetician, and a nail client calls the pricing average for the area and says she'll return. When the hairpiece color failed, the owner ultimately issued a refund covering half the cost of the recoloring.

“I have been going to Salon Envy for over 5 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. Savannah does my hair and she never fails to come through with perfection when she does my hair. She listens and ensures that you are happy with every aspect of her services. Savannah is kind, flexible, considerate, patient, and thorough. I will always return to Salon Envy as they are absolutely the greatest in haircare and customer service. I highly recommend Salon Envy and that you request Savannah whether it is your first time getting pampered at a hair salon or if you regularly go to salons to maintain your hair.”

“Gaby was unprofessional. She told me on a Thursday to go in at 11am then text me to go in at 12pm then I got another text to come at 1pm. Not long after she text me again and tells me to go in the next day at 7am instead. Friday morning I …”

“On December 11, 2019 I got my hair done by Gaby. My hair was a little blonde before and wanted to be darker and I was pretty excited to get my hair done. She was friendly in person, but after few days of getting my hair done I noticed that my blonde was coming back, so I had texted her with a picture of my hair asking why did my hair color change? She didn’t respond she blocked me instead I wasn’t upset it was just a question but she didn’t have the courtesy to respond and I spent $170... hopefully I don’t get blocked on the business page for leaving a review UPDATE on this situation! I already had an idea that Gaby had blocked me from her contacts! So on January 19, 2020 I had to use a different phone to call her. And I finally got a hold of her, I told her that my hair turned to a brassie color... and she replied very rudely saying ”GIRL it’s the toner and I don’t want to do your hair go somewhere else and stop bugging me, I was extremely shocked of her response.. so I had said ok fine but I would like my money back which was $170 and again she was rude and said “GIRL BYE” She is not professional and she is very immature and the color she is using is not legit I wouldn’t recommend her please save your money and go to a real professional that knows what they are doing!!”

“Owner of salon envy Tanya charged us $1000 for two hair pieces that cost less than $500 together. She said that she could match hair piece with current hair color. She tried and failed. Instead of re coloring because she had an extremely devastating customer she provides a refund for half of the cost for hair coloring. She came highly recommended. So sad that an owner would treat her customer this way.”
