  “Wren & Wolf is a breathtaking, gorgeous restaurant. Beautifully decorated and the atmosphere feels upscale with a hint of hip. After being sat down, the host asked if we preferred bottled water, sparkling or still. We chose still and never received this during our meal. I can only assume this wasn't relayed to our server. For appetizers, we both were intrigued by the "Caviar Bump." This is brought out on a trolly, and the server scoops then places a quarter sized amount of caviar on opposite side of your ball of thumb. He instructs us the best way to enjoy this caviar is to gently press it against the roof of your mouth with your tongue. Both of us are in agreeance that compared to the other times we've had caviar; this was a bit fishy and tasted passed it prime. Onto mains, my partner opted in for the double smash burger which was great. Our server/kitchen was kind enough to upgrade her side to one of their special salads which was great. As for me, I opted in for their eggs benedict, upgrading to their king crab. I found this tasty, but I found the overall flavours overpowered the taste of the crab. Both dishes were beautifully presented, and our server was casual and was a pleasure. We're happy to make this our first meal visiting Phoenix, and if we were to come back, they have an amazing looking dinner menu we'd love to try.”

  “We went to Wren & Wolf after our Carry On experience. Our "flight" was at 3:30 p.m., so it worked out perfectly to have dinner at Wren & Wolf afterward. It was Sunday and before 5 p.m., so the place was pretty empty. The restaurant is huge and decorated with wolf statues and paintings. They also have a lounge area, bar area, regular tables, and plenty of booths. There were a few other groups there who had also come from the 3:30 Carry On flight. Even though it wasn't busy, they seated us right next to another group. It felt a bit cramped, and since the tables were so close together, we could hear their entire conversation, and I'm sure they could hear ours too. Since we had already been snacking during Carry On, we weren't very hungry. We ordered a couple of appetizers, the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries, and then we also ordered the spaghetti, duck breast, halibut, and chicken for our mains. The food was decent, but everything leaned a little salty. If you park at the Renaissance Square Parking Garage, they'll validate your parking for up to three hours. Overall, I'm glad we checked it out.”

  “Had a great experience at Wren and Wolf. The food was amazing, everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The service really made the experience even better. The atmosphere was great, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “Argh!!!! So enfuriating to have wasted time and effort going here. I was hoping to impress my girl for her birthday, but got one of the most frustrating experiences in a place that promises a "distinct dining experience". I thought I had done my homework by watching a couple of YouTube videos about it where people described a lovely experience at this place and read lots of shinning reviews online, but I failed miserably. The location is nothing to write home about as it is in downtown Phoenix, but they offer parking validation, so that is a plus. I made a reservation and the restaurant was 80% empty, so we were seated immediately upon arrival. Our troubles started as soon as we were seated in a booth with a wobbly toble with too large a base to be in a booth. We had no room to place our feet and we don't have Shaquile O'Neal size feet either... Our server was slow and dismissive, so the service was subpar. We ordered bread service (Noble bread) and a pastry tower (probably from Noble) and those were the best items we had there. We ordered a hot coffee which sat at the bar counter for 20 minutes with our server walking by it several times and not seeing it or pretending not to see it, and when she finally brought it to the table, it was cold. We asked to have it remade and got a bit of attitude from our server. She went and made the second coffee herself and the coffee was awful. They own a La Marzocco, but didn't have a barista to use it, so the coffee was hot, but barely drinkable. We ordered steak and eggs with country potatoes and a fried chicken sandwich with fries. The steak was very good, but the fried eggs (ordered over easy) came over-fried with hard yolks and burnt edges and the country potatoes also over-fried and over salted, so both eggs and potatoes were uneatable. The sandwich was even worse... over-fried hard chicken in a greasy bun with over-fried and over salted fries... also uneatable. Perhaps chef needs to go back to culinary school to learn how to fry food, and a class on people-to-people skills for the server would wouldn’t be a bad idea either. A very memorable experience for the wrong reasons... The value is not there. Don’t fall for the positive reviews here… We won't return.”

  “I’ve been to Wren & Wolf twice now, most recently for our anniversary, and both experiences have been incredible. We made a reservation and everything from start to finish felt seamless. The waiter and staff were so kind and attentive they truly made our dinner feel special. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The bone marrow appetizer was hands down the best rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. Our entrées and cocktails were just as impressive, everything perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. This is definitely one of those places you go for a memorable night out. Amazing food, great service, and an overall experience that keeps you coming back. ✨”

  “My man and I went here for a date. It took a little while to be served but they were short staffed and just had an unexpected rush. Our waiter Ethan P. (For Personality) was extremely nice and apologized and thanked us for our patience multiple times. He made the experience a 10/10 for us and helped us not be so nervous. We really appreciated his efforts. The food was also amazing. We had the pesto pasta, chicken with potatoes, and Mac and cheese. All of them tasted delicious. We’ll for sure be coming back!”

  “​Wren & Wolf completely blew us away tonight. The ambiance is dark, moody, and beautifully designed, setting the perfect stage for a fantastic meal. The menu is creative and executed perfectly, and the cocktail program is top-notch. Even though my halibut was a little dry, the sauce it came with was so incredibly delicious that it completely made up for it! Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring a flawless dinner from start to finish. If you’re looking for high-quality food and a great vibe, this is it.”

  “Wren & Wolf never disappoints. The food and atmosphere are absolutely spot on and perfectly match the restaurant’s unique vibe. Every visit feels special, which is why we’ve become regulars. A special shoutout to Lexi, our server, who was incredibly personable and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were also impressed that Brittany, the manager, took the time to come out and visit with guests at their tables. That personal touch made us feel genuinely appreciated and added to an already outstanding experience. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend the twice-baked potato with lobster tail and pairing it with an Old Fashioned. BOTH were exceptional. We’ve been here many times and have never left disappointed. Great food, great drinks, and an amazing team that consistently goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!”

  “The only reason for a 4 star is the parking issue. Granted we did go there during a baseball game (didn't plan right on our end). But the restaraunt has complimentary parking in the Renissance garage below the restaraunt. HOWEVER when we entered the garage we were promptly directed to pay the $30 parking fee which we did. When I spoke to the restaraunt about this they said the parking staff should have asked or had some other procedure I place before charging people. Proceed to us attempting to exit the parking garage, we were forced to pay an ADDITIONAL $10 just to exit. Needless to say we will find other parking and plan ahead for any events. Now this establishment is kinda hidden on the outside, no signage other than the one inside the building. But it is beautiful inside, think upscale hunting lodge meets fine dining. Reminds me of the movie The Menu. We ordered the Beef Cappacio and were recommended to accompany it with their bread and truffle butter which omg don't hesitate and do it. Delicious with the Bone Marrow aoili. I got the 12hr oxtail pappardelle which had a savory but subtle flavor that allowed you to really taste the meat and it finished off with a little spice. The noodles were delicious and you can actually taste the noodle itself which seemed like it was cooked in some butter beforehand....which hell yeah!! Hubby got the Atlantic salmon which was HUGE and he loved the sauce! Wish he had some bread to mop the left overs up. Hubby also had 2 of their Where there's a will there's a way which was a citrus old fashioned. He said they were absolutely delicious and would come there again just for those drinks. All in all, the only issue we had was the parking. We will be back”
