  “I went to Chico Malo for Arizona Chef's week. The four course meal they created was was wonderful and service was very good. This was a new food adventure. Perfect if you want to branch out and get a great gourmet meal. They also had a nice happy hour for affordable drinks.”

  “Came for an early dinner via reservation, before a concert nearby on a Friday night. It was busy, but not too busy, cool interior and friendly, attentive staff. The food and drinks were a little pricey, but absolutely delicious. We had a Paloma and Margarita with the Birria Flautas, Elote and Ceviche - all amazing! Great for special occasions and highly recommend.”

  “I was at the Kimpton Palomar Hotel across thr street and it was an inviting atmosphere. I walked right in and enjoyed the conversation with staff. They were all very pleasant. The food was not bad. Drinks were on point.”

  “Was craving for some good Mexican food and this was the place to go. I was here on a business trip. Would certainly go back to try other things on the menu. Ordered an alcoholic beverage as well.”

  “Just Wow! We stumbled upon this restaurant because we wanted a meal before our Stand Up Live show and it was right next to the venue . My husband had the Pork Verde and we were blown away. This was hands down the best chile verde/pork verde my husband has ever had (and that is his go to meal at every restaurant that serves it). We could not believe how tender and flavorful it was. You always see these videos and reviews where people say things are “melt in your mouth” and we never knew really what that meant until now. It was so tender, you practically didn’t have to even chew it. After every bite, my husband couldn’t help himself but say “oh wow”- after every single bite. I had the red cheese enchiladas which were also very delicious. The sauce was a thick sweet Smokey sauce that wasn’t too spicy. It was very unique and flavorful. Our server was Chloe and she was super great- friendly and attentive and put our order in and brought it out quickly since we’re were trying to catch a show. I never write reviews, but our experience was just so great I had to share. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to and we will definitely, absolutely return.”

  “Excellent location in downtown Phoenix. Walking distance to many area attractions. Great food and atmosphere 👌 Really enjoyed the seating and cozy relaxing vibes. Got to try their guacamole with palmogranite....yum 😋 We had a party of 16 in the back room and even had an outlet for charging our cell phones. 👍”

  “The food here is so good! Especially the ceviche and chicharrón de ribeye. The happy hour is really cheap, but they don’t give the menu. You have to ask.”

  “Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Their playlist is on point, you will definitely feel a vibe. All servers and bartenders are attentive and have great attitudes. The food itself is amazing making the restaurant a triple crown winner in my opinion. They have it all and you definitely need to make a reservation so you don’t miss out. If we are ever back in Phoenix, this is the spot we will be back too.”

  “Literally the best food ever. I love the relleno and my friend loves the ceviche! I have to commend Caden on his service today- absolutely amazing excellent. Last time, we had Dallas who introduced me to the relleno and thank goodness for him, I literally crave it some days. 10/10 for Chico Malo every single time.”
