  “Absolute gem of a buffet to get home cooked food. My party enjoyed everything we had from the fried chicken, to the greens, the fried chicken livers to the potatoes. The desserts were excellent as well. We're all yanks, and can't wait to come back. Our vegetarian friend from Canada had a nice helping of non-meat choices and was very happy.”

  “The food was decent and it's reasonably priced. The atmosphere was a lil dull for my tastes. It's a buffet so there really want much interaction with staff, so the service is what you'd expect”

  “There are ok 'home cooking' buffets and then there's this place. The food always good, the place is always clean, and the service is great too. This is not fancy, it is a buffet. The prices are affordable. You should give M & J a try, I bet you won't be disappointed.”

  “Love eating at this place except for the chicken dressing. I posted over a month ago that it was not done and thought that management would look at this issue and correct it but today I went again and it’s the same way or actually worse today. The onions and celery are cut too big and they don’t get done. Anyone who knows how to make dressing knows that you must cook it long enough to get these done. But the best way is to sautee the onions and celery before putting them in the dressing. Attached is photo taken today showing the sizes and the pieces that could not be eaten due to being tough and not cooked well. I don’t know if management looks at these reviews or not, but they need to, as I’m not the only one complaining about this. The other food is good, but dressing sure needs improvements.”

  “Been going ever since opened, but last couple of months the chicken dressing has went down hill. The rest of the food is good and the waitresses are awesome, but the dressing is either not cooked enough or someone different is making it. I posted to the website last week about the celery snd onions not being done. All I know is there were large pieces that were hard. I even posted a photo of my plate where I could not eat those pieces. I thought by coming back to day that it might have changed but, no it hasn’t. I’m not the only one complaining, as our church comes a lot on Sundays and noticed it also. I would love to come back one day to see that this issue has been dealt with. Maybe someone can do a better job.”

  “I really liked this place. They kept the buffet fresh and full. The waitresses were friendly and never let your glass get empty and they always kept a watchful eye and a constant presence to make sure that you didn't need anything. I will definitely come back and visit again...”
