  “Was excited to try this place because my daughter loves beignets. The inside of the restaurant could definitely use a revamp or upgrade. It’s kind of grungy and not welcoming at all. There are limited coffee options-coffee from a pot or vanilla cappuccino from one of those machines like you see in a gas station. We got our beignets which were a little pricey but they looked good. When we got them home to eat they were hard and didn’t have any flavor.”

  “That was not a beignet. At best you could describe it as an overcooked pita bread, fried and then covered in powdered sugar. Absolutely awful and inedible.”

  “Beignets, beignets, and more beignets. Very delicious, super fresh. Great service, and delicious beignets what more do I need to say. I didn’t think about it at the time but not sure if they have a dipping sauce, but that would have been a good addition, but obviously not needed because I ate everything without even thinking about it. Bring cash, sometimes the card machine goes down.”

  “We absolutely love this place. We have eaten here for breakfast 3x this week. It’s quick, easy, and delicious. My son may have ate 6 in one hour. If you want an affordable quick breakfast to take back to the condo I highly recommend. The workers are also super friendly! Our go to when we are in Orange Beach!”

  “The beignets had a different taste to them - the owner told me she's had the business over 30 years and just uses beignet mix but it was like the buttermilk was stronger than usual - very good. Little hole in the wall type of restaurant in the Rouses shopping center. We enjoyed it.”

  “Cafe Beignet serves up some impressive beignets. They arrive piping hot, generously dusted with powdered sugar, and boast a delightful flavor. I complemented my treat with a satisfying cup of coffee, which also hit the spot. I'll certainly be returning for more.”

  “I had read the reviews and was excited about visiting Cafe Beignet. However, I was turned off by the guy in the back cooking and preparing the orders. He was rude and easily agitated. The young lady up front was nice and had a pleasant attitude. When she send an order back, his response was, “it’s going to be a while, tell them get on facebook or something.” I almost cancel my order when the lady in front of me order came up, she asked for another camel dip, when the order was relayed, the man’s response was, “I sent you one up with the order.” She replied, the customer want another one. He didn’t say anything, filled the cup half way with Carmel and slide the cup across the counter. The young lady look at the customer and the customer said, I understand, he by himself back there and he’s busy. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to rant. The beignets got a 5/10, they were ok.”
