  “We just moved back and figured we would give it a try...well our first time was a Tuesday night the country buffet. It was good food and our service was really good! We give it another shot tonight! Worse mistake!! We waited an hour and never received any food. Our waitress never come to the table in that hour. We had to ask as she passed our table for the 10th time what was taking so long on our food. She said she would check 10 mins later she came back to tell us it would be about 7 mins before our food was ready there was a mix up in the kitchen. Well 15 mins later we still never received our food. So we try to pay for our sodas and walked out. They did tell us we didn't have to pay for our 2 sodas!How nice!”

  “After a long day, we stopped in hoping to sit down to a nice meal before several more hours of travel. The tea and soda were awful, but we let it go since we were tired and hungry. We ordered the "daily special: meat & 2" thinking it would be the quickest option. After 40 minutes, we were served pitiful plates of frozen shrimp and uncooked potatoes. The menu boasted gulf shrimp, so I was surprised with what was on the plate. The potatoes were so undercooked that we could hardly cut them open. We asked to speak to the manager, and she did not make things any better. Excuses and asking us what we wanted her to do about it. After an hour of being there, we opted to just leave. When in town again, we will definitely be going to a different restaurant.”

  “A great small town restaurant! Old style country lunch buffet and great staff. You can also order straight for the menu which has options that look really good. Definitely worth a try when you were in Jackson, Alabama.”
