  “Decided to try them at the strawberry fest despite my bad experiences with them in the past. I had hair in my food , & the customer service wasn’t good . My issue wasn’t the hair, I understand mistakes happen, it was the attitude from the lady taking orders when I mentioned I’d like a refund. Her first comment was “well you’ve already bit it” . Yes, I took one bite, then noticed the hair. I could understand if I ate half , then asked for a refund. She looked at my hair as if she was trying to say it was mine, well I have brown hair , the hair was black so it obviously wasn’t mine. She acted shocked, & still proceed to replace my order, when I once again had to tell her I’d like a refund , not a replacement. I would’ve kept this to myself if she hadn’t gotten an attitude. I’m not understanding the attitude especially when this issue was caused by the workers, not me. I really try to support black owned businesses, but this makes it extremely difficult to.”

  “My wife and I ate there today. She had the rib plate and I had the fish plate. Portions were large and the fish was hot and really good. Sides were very good. Slaw, baked beans and mac n cheese. Will go back again.”

  “The Ribs was extremely tender, you could taste the smoke flavor. The Mac n cheese was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT 😞, dry, and cheese hard. We both had fried green tomatoes, I was given 3, and my better half only was given 2. When it comes to service, it could have been better. They do however bring your food to the table after you stand at the counter and order. After you are done eating someone cleans the table, so you don't have to throw away your trash.”

  “We eat here often. The staff is always pleasant and goes out of their way to help you. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is always cooked to perfection, pork chops, fried green tomatoes, coleslaw, everything is excellent. The BBQ salad is filled with meat. Prices are very reasonable.”

  “I never ate here before but the ribs are awesome. Sweet tea is perfectly sweet. Loved the bake beans. The Mac n cheese was disappointing. Had a bitter taste. I will be back to try different things bc over all I had a great experience there...people where friendly.”
