  “I had such an amazing experience at this salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly relaxing. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time. My stylist truly listened to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions that made my facial hair and eyebrows look even better than I imagined. The attention to detail was impressive, and you can tell they really care about their craft. My style turned out flawless! On top of that, the nail service was just as fantastic. The technician was meticulous and gentle, and my manicure came out absolutely beautiful. The quality of the products and cleanliness of the salon really stood out. Everything felt professional yet personal, and I never felt rushed. It’s clear this place takes pride in providing top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know!”

  “$95.00’s for a pedicure, only clearly she could be bothered taking off the nail polish on my skin. When she told me the price I just about died. This is robbery. Anywhere outside of Alaska you’re looking at $40-60 dollars MAX. And these are factual numbers. I won’t be coming back here or getting another pedicure EVER in Alaska. I really could have done this myself. Or had my best friend’s little girls paint my toes. At least it would be funner. This is insane. I didn’t even get anything fancy. Just nail polish, nothing glitter, no cat eye, no gel. ONLY original polish. Not too mention every time she’d put my feet in the dryer my nail would hit on it. Very forceful and aggressive. She also went to pull down my pants (without just politely telling ME that it was time so that *I* could pull my own pants down. No. She took it upon herself to grab my pant leg on both sides and aggressively shoved her nails into my skin on my leg, not just one leg, both legs. Which she then got lotion all over my black pants as well. So thank you. If she’d just have asked me to do it I would have been HAPPY to do it myself. Less scratches as well. What sucks even more is that I’m pregnant, and really can’t afford this, but I wanted to give myself a little pick me up so I decided to get a pedicure. I’ve always gone to capital nails but this was a new lady to me. She didn’t even put the feet dividers in between my toes. Which I didn’t like for one. And the last time I was there it was a lovely man, and I got a French tip, and it was $75 dollars. Which is still steep as hell, but $90??? Oh and PLUS tip. She ripped my off. Total ripoff. Do not go here unless you want a shitty job done, just do it yourself. Or wait until you go out of town. I wanted my money back. This place will just spew out ANY number and each person has a different one. My feet look terrible. As if I did it myself, which I would have felt better as the outcome. This is just pure laziness, lack of professionalism, and greed. Thumbs down. I couldn’t give a 0 star so I did a 1, but even a 1 is too nice.”

  “OK so I don’t always get my nails done here but I used to when I first moved and I really enjoyed coming to this place but I also feel like I always got treated not so nicely by people at the establishment. On this particular day, I asked if I can get some acrylics removed because I actually shouldn’t be wearing acrylics for my job because it’s a huge safety issue and I didn’t get these acrylics done by this place. I got it done in a different state and the owner seemed to have been super offended by the fact that I came in to get acrylics removed that I had gotten done in different state. No, this wasn’t a personal to me but it seemed personal to her. I only asked her to get these acrylics removed and it was actually a very painful experience. I kept addressing how my nails are getting removed very aggressively and telling her that I was like in pain and somehow got pieces of my nail removed. Now I know this could’ve been avoided because I’ve had acrylics removed before and usually when I get them removed at other places they shave them down until there very thin, but instead it felt like an extreme issue for the owner to this before I head to work. Maybe because they weren’t shaved down all the way thin. Honestly, I’ve never had an experience like this where it was extremely painful to get my nails removed. My nails were pretty sore for a couple days and it’s unfortunate because I actually really loved coming to this place in the beginning of my Juneau experience.”

  “I'm really happy with my nails! Came in as a last-minute walk-in, and they were very accommodating! Got holiday nail mani and pedi. My nails were $100, but they gave me a $10 discount, so $90. My pedi was $60 for the more expensive pedicure available (with hot stones). They have soooo many colors and work very efficiently. I'm very happy with my nails and will be back! They do accept card but prefer cash. Next time, I'll bring cash.”
