Customer Review Summary
Reviewers mainly praise generous, well-priced Italian plates at this family-run restaurant, singling out the lamb shank after mussels, the bruschetta, the pollo Milanese and a chicken breast in wine and mushroom sauce as delicious. Pork with roast vegetables, salmon fillet and pizza also get mentions, and several call the portions more than enough and the prices reasonable. Most describe the service as welcoming, friendly and homely, and the atmosphere as quiet, chill and romantic. One diner felt the steak with mushroom sauce could be a bit better, though the sauce was loved. The sharpest complaint comes from a booked Saturday night, where a garlic bread starter and then the mains took very long, later arrivals were served first, and staff answered the complaint by saying they were busy, with no apology. Another group, waiting for transport home, was given a round of drinks on the house.

“Absolutely amazing! All the dishes I tried were so flavourful and fresh. I also loved the way they were presented! The portion sizes were big and it was relatively cheap. The staff were so welcoming and their service was exceptional. Even the atmosphere in the restaurant was chill and friendly, you could tell it was an authentic Italian restaurant. i honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m definitely going back there, highly recommend!!”

“Delicious food at reasonable prices. Menu was extensive and varied considering the size of the restaurant. We had salmon fillet, chicken breast in wine/mushroom sauce and pizza. Will return soon. Less busy than central Worthing and parking easier. 4 stars for atmosphere only as we were the only customers when we went.”

“Visited on a Saturday night with friends. We did book. A little slow to take the order, but they were quite busy. Then 45 minutes until the starter arrived (it was only a bit of garlic bread) and then another hour before we got our mains. People who arrived after us were served before us. When my husband mention that the service had been poor, the response was; to paraphrase. We're busy, you've been before, you know what it's like.......no apology whatsoever. They may not remain busy if this is the new Giorgio service style. We certainly won't be back.”

“Another excellent meal just the other week, excellent food at an affordable price and portions are more than enough. This is one of the hidden gems of Worthing/Broadwater area and will be taking more family next time. It's a quiet place with a nice atmosphere and friendly service.”
