About Toby Carvery Worcester Park
Toby Carvery Worcester Park is a carvery on Old Malden Ln in Worcester Park, where an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet runs alongside the roast menu. Guests queue at the carvery counter and have roast beef and turkey carved for them. Yorkshire puddings, gravy and a range of vegetables go on the plate from the same counter. A Sunday roast is offered, and a set menu with starter and main course options sits alongside the carvery. Staff at a reception desk at the front greet and seat guests, and tables in the bar area can be offered when the restaurant is busy. Dogs are welcome, so guests can bring them along for a meal. A claw machine with teddies stands on site.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the roast itself, praising the turkey, the large and plentiful portions, and the Yorkshire puddings, gravy and cranberry sauce. Close behind is the staff, with several describing friendly, welcoming servers, a table offered at the bar to skip a queue, and a team that sang Happy Birthday when a customer brought in their own cake. One reviewer says a chef paid for a child's extra go on the claw machine. Value also draws comment, with deals mentioned and one diner expecting to pay far more.

“Am so disappointed with today’s lunch. My wife came in at 1pm after booking a table as we fancied a really good carvery lunch, we were greeted at the front reception and brought to our table straight away and our table was clean and we loved the decor. So far so good. The waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. After 5 minutes another waitress asked what we wanted to drink which was slightly strange. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive after that. The restaurant was busy so I get that service can be slightly slow sometimes. The meat was tender although really not much of it. I asked for the beef and there was so much fat coming off when he was carving off and the carver decided to put the fat on my plate as well which is off putting. Some of the roast potatoes were ok and some were just hard and horrible. I think we can all agree that it’s the roasties that make a roast. Lots of empty trays so couldn’t even get the full range of vegetables. Not once were we asked if the food was okay. My wife witnessed a waitress laying down knives and forks after she had been handling dirty plates. He was holding the prong end of the forks and hadn’t washed her hands. There were a couple either side of us who were waiting patiently to be asked what they wanted to drink. They were both frustrated and in the end one of them went to the bar to get his own drinks. I had to ask for the bill twice. Not one member of staff asked if we wanted desserts. Finally when the bill came the girl who attended us to take the money had a face which forgot to smile. Don’t even say hello, didn’t ask how are meal was or even say thank you. Pretty much just shoved the card machine in my face. Food was just about ok all in all but the organisation artfifude of the staff sucked. The sad thing is that when someone leaves critique on google the reply from the owners says they appreciate the feedback and say the comments help to do better. Obviously not the case as this was a shambles and aren’t even bothered speaking to the person who has left the review. This place compared to the one near Windsor is totally different in the way that they actually give a stuff about the customers”

“Came on a Sunday - we came just as the rush finished so had to wait a little while for fresh food to come out but staff were so nice. Jo was our waitress and was lovely. My son was trying to win a Teddy from the claw machine but didn’t manage to get the one he wanted after 2 goes so one of the chefs Ollie came round and payed for him to have another go whilst cheering him on to get the one he wanted”

“A family of 5 of us went for Sunday roast around 4.00 pm. The restaurant was fully booked and a long queue constantly at the desk. We were offered a table at the bar area to avoid waiting. The roast was very good, large variety and plentiful. Make a booking especially on Sunday to avoid disappointment. The best however was the staff, the friendly guy at the desk and my favourite person, Allan who kindly kept my handbag safe as I left it under the table and went back in tears five hours later deeply hoping to get it back and of course that I did. Thank you very much Allan ❤️”

“Our server was a young man (maybe Derek?) and he was absolutely wonderful. We had a large party with children and he was so attentive and really looked after us. The rest of the staff were also fantastic as I'd brought my own dessert in for my daughters birthday and they went above and beyond. Plus everyone sang Happy Birthday when I came out with the cake! We really couldn't have asked for more.”
