Customer Review Summary
Salt and pepper chips, also called salted chips, are the most repeated draw, with regulars describing them as hot, not burnt, and made the same way each order. Close behind are piping hot meals with plenty of meat, a sweet and unusual curry sauce one reviewer found lovely, and proper old school Chinese cooking without modern mixes. Several mention the cheerful young man at the front and prompt delivery. The complaints are specific. One reviewer describes a sloppy chicken chow mein with rubbery chicken, oven chips, and a curry sauce that set like jelly. Another says a sweet and sour king prawn arrived Cantonese style despite asking otherwise, and suspects a language mix-up. One reports hair in the chicken on three separate orders. Another says both diners were poorly through the night, though the takeaway refunded them with no issues.

“Unfortunately I have to leave this review. This Chinese take away is terrible! I really don't understand what has happened to the place? It used to be a good place to get a meal from, but now it's terrible! Last night I ordered a simple chicken chow mein ,chips and a pot of curry sauce. The chips were just oven chips out of a packet, the chow main was sloppy!! Not sure if it had been boiled?? But definitely not fried in a wok! The chicken was like stripes of rubber. The curry sauce, turned to like a jelly when it was opened. The meal went in the bin, even the dog turned its nose up at the chicken! Absolute weast of money. Don't like having to leave reviews like this but, feel I have to. 0 out of 10 from me!”

“Absolutely amazing food, I always get the salt and pepper chips and they’re delicious made exactly how I like each time I order. The customer service is amazing, it’s always a pleasure to see the young lad working at the front. Couldn’t recommend more!”
