About The Nickelodeon
The Nickelodeon sits on Bentleybridge Way in Wolverhampton, a canal-side pub and restaurant with indoor seating and outdoor tables by the water. The kitchen runs a carvery, serving roasts from a counter where plates are loaded to order. Openings for the carvery and the rest of the menu follow standard pub hours, and the room suits both a casual meal and a longer sit-down. The layout gives drinkers a spot inside and a quieter stretch of seating outdoors along the canal for warmer weather.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers describe a welcoming pub where friendly staff earn repeated mention and the carvery draws particular praise, with one diner's companion finding the roast "delicious." Menu options beyond the carvery also draw a thumbs up, though one reviewer felt a skewer dish was misnamed. A few note the building could use some upkeep, and the canalside seating gets a mention.

“Absolutely appalled by our visit. We waited over 8 minutes at the bar while multiple staff walked past without acknowledging us. The venue was quiet, yet the service was unfriendly and inattentive. The hygiene was the biggest concern. There were dried lemons and limes behind the bar covered in flies, my drink arrived with a black object floating in it, and both glasses were dirty and had to be replaced. The seating area was also full of flies, with dead flies and thick dirt on the window ledge, making it clear it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. Overall, poor service, poor cleanliness, and serious food hygiene concerns. It genuinely felt like the place needs an unannounced hygiene inspection.”

“Considering the decent amount we drank and ate, a bargain price, and I would rate the wide selection of food and drinks very highly. Carvery is my go to, but there is plenty of other choice. Staff are great, helpful and friendly. Place is clean and well organised. At peak times it can be very busy, that's because it is so good. Thank you to all involved.”

“staff were great. Krystin was lovely took time to help even when it was very busy. food was lovely also. the only fault is that the place could do with a bit of tlc but clean good otherwise”

“This place is a typical Greene king pub. It offers a carvery - which my friends had and they found it delicious. I ordered off the menu a chicken dish which was nice, but the chicken skewers were basically just battered chicken balls on a skewer not a proper chicken skewer as you might expect. It is quite noisy in here - and can get busy. Staff team were generally friendly and the pub was clean and tidy. There is a good menu if you do not want carver and there is indoor our outdoor seating by the canal (just watch out for low flying ducks!).”
