About Piccolo Arco
Piccolo Arco is a family-run Italian restaurant in Wokingham, with an open kitchen. Late in the evening, the chef will cook an off-menu dish on request, which gives later diners a choice beyond the written menu. The steak dishes are filet cuts served with fries, including the filetto al gorgonzola. Seafood pasta is another part of the menu, with linguine allo scoglio among the options. Desserts include tiramisu. Guests are greeted in Italian at the door.

Customer Review Summary
Seafood pasta draws the most praise, with reviewers singling out the linguine allo scoglio in a white wine garlic and cream sauce, the linguine gamberoni with king prawns and chili, and a spaghetti with mussels arranged like a flower in a rich tomato sauce. Close behind are the filet dishes, though opinions split. One diner calls the filet al pepe melt-in-your-mouth, with crisp fries alongside, while another found the filet steak smothered in a black peppercorn sauce and not good, adding that the restaurant is not a steakhouse. Others name the chef's special ravioli, meatballs, lasagne, and the tiramisu. Reviewers describe friendly, welcoming staff, a greeting in Italian at the door, and an open kitchen. One parent says staff looked out for their baby. One late-evening diner recalls the chef happily cooking a meal that was not on the menu.

“3 stars because of the quality of the filet steak and the peppercorn sauce was not good. Steak came smothered in the sauce which was black in colour. I guess avoid steak here, not their fault, they aren't a steakhouse.”

“Came here recently with family for a delicious lunch. We all enjoyed our mains and desserts were fine too - good Italian fare! But best of all was the service! We were so well looked after and staff went above and beyond to look out for my baby too. Would definitely return if in the area!”

“I recently tried this seafood pasta and it was a fantastic experience. The dish was beautifully presented, with mussels arranged around the pasta in a very creative way that made it look like a flower. It immediately caught my attention and looked very professional. The tomato sauce was rich and flavourful, coating the spaghetti nicely without being too heavy. The mussels were fresh and cooked well, adding a great seafood taste that worked perfectly with the pasta. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.”
