About Worzals Bar & Grill
Worzals Bar & Grill is a bar and grill on Lynn Rd in Wisbech, open daily. The menu opens with mac and cheese balls and an onion blossom, and a roast dinner with beef and gravy is also on offer. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the generous, filling plates, from a huge hot dog with masses of chips and a rib eye steak to loaded tater tots with massive portions at breakfast. Close behind are the desserts, with chocolate fudge cake, double choc brownie and an after eight cheesecake singled out, plus a roast dinner with tender beef and gravy one diner calls the best they have had. The black and blue chicken, Camembert rounds and milkshakes also earn praise, and several describe friendly staff and an outdoor playground and farm shop. Complaints are frequent and specific. One diner found the steak and ribs tough and full of grizzle, with greasy onion rings, and another describes dry burgers and dirty fries under cheese sauce. Others report slow food, a very weak latte, a dry scone nobody acknowledged, and children's meal items charged separately. One parent says a breakfast party was refused a table at 11:05 despite free tables, and another notes broken toilet seats still unfixed after a report to staff.

“Turned up for breakfast at 11:05 this morning and, despite there being free tables, Liam refused to seat us because it was “too busy.” My 3-year-old was understandably very upset. After eating here for over 10 years, I’m extremely disappointed by the poor service and lack of consideration shown today. We’ve been loyal customers for a long time, but unfortunately after this experience, we won’t be eating here again.”

“This place is dreadful from start to finish. Service poor/ you wait ages for food/ had to query bill. Scone dreadful so dry lost half of it on floor when bit into it. No one made any comment or offered to bring another. If you have a child’s meal deal and don’t have it all they then charge separately for items. Would have been cheaper bill wise to take the ice cream ( which children didn’t want) and waste it!! Ridiculous.”

“Nice venue including outdoors playground. We got the kids eat for £1 deal. Garden centre next door. Ample parking. [edit] On a 2nd visit they still haven't sorted the lose/broken toilet seats in both gents cubicles despite me telling the staff last week. There's no urinals either.”

“We have been to Worzals before and had great food and service. Today’s food was unfortunately not good. The milkshakes were amazing. My steak and ribs were quite frankly inedible and I left the majority of them on the plate uneaten. The steak was tough and full of grizzle. The ribs were tough and inedible. The onion rings looked great but were very greasy and tasted of nothing but grease and oil. The waitress when collecting the plates didn’t even ask if everything was ok. Just asked if I wanted a to go box so I could take them home. We won’t unfortunately be going there again. It’s a lot of money for the worst steak and ribs I have ever had!”
