  “🌟 5 stars for Arthurs of Hoylake! 🌟 Today I visited Arthurs of Hoylake with my daughter and son, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. But what stood out the most was the incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming staff — they served us with genuine kindness and big smiles, which made us feel truly comfortable and valued. The atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly. Everything felt so right that I’ve already decided to bring the kids here every month. Hoylake itself is such a charming and hospitable town, and Arthurs perfectly reflects that spirit. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in Hoylake✅”

  “I had really been looking forward to trying Arthur's for a Sunday lunch but sadly I was disappointed. We ordered the beef and the chicken and whilst the chicken was lovely, the beef was tough. There was too much watery gravy swimming around the plates and the veg was pretty tasteless. The giant Yorkshire pudding was more gimmicky than practical, the smaller ones coming out later on would have been preferrable (maybe give the option of which size Yorkshire pudding when taking the order). It was very busy and there were only 2 serving staff on the floor (who were lovely I might add) and 2 others behind the bar, which actually gave to a frantic feel about the place as they were doing their best to dash here there and everywhere. Apple crumble was very nice once they finally arrived, they took so long to come out I actually thought they had been forgotten. The ambiance was a bit chaotic and messy as there were a few large tables of groups in and a lot of small children (which may have been better upstairs due to the noise etc.) I like to enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch in a relaxing atmosphere to be honest and I felt that this was not the place to be.”

  “100% recommend Arthur’s! I visited with a group of girlfriends for a long-overdue catch-up, and we had such a lovely evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great too. The staff were attentive throughout, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything more. The portions were really generous, and the food was amazing. The Black Forest Gateau was absolutely 🤩! The evening was topped off perfectly with live jazz playing discreetly in the background, creating a chilled and relaxed vibe. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! ❤️”

  “Went Friday night with friends… can’t recommend enough. Gorgeous food beautifully presented, (dangerously) good cocktails, friendly service and brilliant live jazz music - at just the right volume so we could still chat. The owner Carley, and the team have created something really special, you can tell how much care and attention to detail has gone into this place. New favourite local ❤️👏🍸 P.S. Espresso Martinis are 🔥”

  “We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant after some friends had eaten here before and enjoyed it. The initial welcome was ☹️ male. The room initially was freezing cold and the “background “ music was intrusive resulting in me asking the delightful waitress if she would kindly reduce the volume slightly so that we could hear ourselves talk at least. 2/3 meals were disappointing- bacon, avocado on focaccia was a finely diced affair more like a pate and in the Cesar Salad I found 2 lone Anchovies and a over abundance of Parmesan. Sorry”
