Customer Review Summary
Katsu curry is the dish reviewers raise most. One calls the chicken crispy and moist under a flavourful curry, and another praises a small portion with soft pumpkin slices that felt generous. Close behind, the chili chicken and sweet and sour chicken are described as flavorful, and another reviewer calls the food delicious with lots of options. The complaints cluster around decline. Several say portions have shrunk compared with earlier visits, and the place is described as run down, dark and tired. Stock is a recurring gap: one regular reports long waits for what is meant to be fast food, and another says they ran out of noodles. Individual items drew criticism too, including sushi compared to gas station quality, wings that were not good, a runny katsu sauce, and a delivered salmon with a slimy texture. Staff are split. Some find them friendly and polite, while a longtime regular says they are no longer friendly and recalls earlier years when problems were corrected and freebies handed out.

“The place is looking quite a bit run down compared to a couple of years ago. The food was ok, portions weren't as generous as before. The ambiance gives the feel that it is destined for closure.”

“Not a good kokoro. Dark and just felt tired and dingey. Kokoro wings are not good. Katsu sauce was too runny.”

“We came here with some friends and family yesterday and all of us today have woken up with nausea, high fever, dizziness, vomiting, weakness and really bad stomach pain! Im not sure if the food was old or bad but it definitely caused us food poisoning. It was our first time here also, definitely wont be coming back!”

“Food was delicious. Lots of options to choose from. Atmosphere was amazing and welcoming staff. I was served by Kanchan with a lovely smile. I would definitely be going again. 😊”

“shocked by what i received on deliveroo. the salmon feels unsafe to eat, has a slimy texture, tastes old and has a foul aftertaste, looks pale and is crumbling apart since it's been frozen too high!! absolutely ridiculous i don't usually write bad reviews but you should not be selling raw fish like this”
