  “lovely staff, tasty gluten free burgers (partner is coeliac), and really good veggie fritter burger. all sides are gluten free too, we will have to try these at some point! i realised an issue with my receipt and the staff were quick to sort the problem and really apologetic! there was a man causing a bit of disruption and being rude to staff but this was no fault of the restaurant at all.”

  “Been to this establishment twice already and both times I was very satisfied. The burgers here are amazing and super affordable and I love that they come with fries. In total my burger was around £13 and my drink around £3 which is a great deal. I got the double smash burger with the classic lemonade both times. They also offer a 20% student discount with student beans which is great as it saves you a little money when dining out as a student. Staff here is also very kind and friendly. I would 100% recommend and I will be coming here again!”

  “Solid burger spot which is a good lunch option after visiting Windsor Castle. Burgers are pretty typical (but good!) and the skin on fries are a highlight, as is the house gravy. There was a bit of confusion about my order as I'd tried to order a single patty but ended up getting the default double patty, so make sure you double check the order.”

  “I had ‘The Windsor’ doubled up with rosemary fries, Cajun wings and Cajun onion rings. 100% reccomend, the burger was cooked to perfection, all the toppings complemented each other perfectly, rosemary fries were a real game changer. The Cajun wings and onion rings were also very nice. If you’re a proper foodie I could not recommend this place enough!”

  “We visited Honest Burgers Windsor on Sunday. We had a very nice family lunch. Food was delicious especially the chicken. We had very nice waitress which was very attentive with our children. Didn’t catch her name. Overall we had a nice experience.”

  “A good variety of high quality burgers at reasonable prices. The service is fast and I particularly enjoyed walking past the kitchen at the back of the restaurant and seeing the burgers get made.”

  “For balance, I have thoroughly enjoyed Honest Burgers in Uxbridge and Reading. But what the hell happened at Windsor? We were burgered out, went for the gluten-free chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and onion rings. Mistake. Dry, bland chicken, oily fries but good onion rings. So disappointed, can only think it’s because it’s a tourist trap area. We sat by the front door and suffered an endless parade of scruffy Deliveroo and JustEats riders traipsing past our table. Not at all a good experience except for the lovely manager.”

  “Enjoyed my dining here. Service was amazing and staff are so friendly. I had the double Windsor local burger with Waterloo cheese, bacon, tarragon and miso butter. The patties were great but felt it was a tad bit salty. Nice location directly opposite the castle.”

  “Great burgers with generous portions perfect for both adults and kids. The location is fantastic, right across from Windsor Castle, making it an easy stop while visiting the area. This is a standard burger place with simple seating, so don’t expect a full restaurant-style environment. Worth noting that sauces are charged separately (except for the ketchup left on the table), but overall a really solid spot for a casual meal.”

  “I just want to really have a conversation with who ever comes up with the menu for Honest or the people who taste test their food before it goes on their main menu because honestly their tenders are one of thee worse tenders in the history of mankind. Genuinely, not even over exaggerating on how bad they are, but the people who taste test there food need a slap for embarrassing Honest like that by even suggesting these tenders should be on the menu. Before they used to do a slightly different ones (could still be the same who knows), which weren't anything special but compare them to these monstrosity they are like gold dust. These tenders are like if you were to slap PLAIN white flour ontop of a plain chicken tender and chuck them into a fryer to serve. PLEASE, sack the food tasting or menu creative team and get real people who know about flavour and taste. I understand you focus mainly on the burgers which I can't knock are good, but it's the fact that you think this embarrassment is acceptable as a side might as well leave them of the menu, or even better yet use the same batter from the onion rings may even work.”
