Customer Review Summary

The Bangkok banquet and other set tasting menus draw the most repeat mentions, with diners praising the seabass and trout, the chicken satay, and a jungle curry singled out for its spice. Close behind, individual dishes like the Thai beef salad, tofu and veg green curry, chicken and mango curry, and Prawn Pad Thai come up often, alongside the vegan banquet and an extensive vegan menu that let one pair take home leftover portions. Several reviewers mention generous courses served without feeling rushed, and staff catching an allergy concern or swapping a mistakenly substituted squid dish back in after it was pointed out. A couple of reviewers flag cost gripes, one calling the wine "a bit expensive" and objecting to a 12.5% service charge they felt should be optional rather than automatic. Small touches recur too, like extra chocolates brought out with a bill and an owner stopping by tables to ask about the meal.

“An excellent lunch with friends! Very kind staff who went over and above to make our experience wonderful. Food was brilliant quality and from the curries to the noodles they all tasted delicious. Really recommend!”
  • Richard E
“Bustling on a Friday night. Lovely food - the jungle curry was pretty hot! (had 2 chilli symbols on the menu). Service was well paced - food arrived promptly but we didn't feel rushed. The manager and waiting staff were also lovely.”
  • Paul Hubbard
“Excellent food. Took a while to get our orders in as the restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday, but food came quickly once ordered. And was really good! The flexibility to tailor my wife's main course (by omitting chillis) was really appreciated. Made fans of us!”
  • KATE GREEN
“We came for a father's day meal and had such a lovely meal and experience. We were warmly greeted and service was absolutely spot- on from the start. We're had two loads of allergies between us, and both the chef and the waiters and Manager were so attentive to this. The food was the best Thai food we have eaten. Lovely breadth of flavours. The Thai beef salad was delicious and the tofu and vag green curry - normally i don't particularly like tofu, but the way or was cooked gave it the perfect texture. We will definitely be coming back and would strongly encourage others to experience this lovely Thai bistro as well.”
  • Chris
“Terrific food on offer, served by very professional and welcoming staff. Our special occasion (wedding anniversary) was even recognised by the staff with a complimentary glass of bubbly and decorated table. Overall a first-class experience and highly recommended.”
