  “We visited Zumuko to celebrate my younger daughter’s birthday, having been loyal customers of the original small sushi restaurant opposite Waitrose for many years. We used to eat there regularly, both dining in and ordering takeaways, and always found the food to be excellent. Sadly, our experience at the new, much larger restaurant was a huge disappointment. The sushi was nowhere near the standard we had come to expect from Zumuko. It lacked the freshness and quality that made us return time and time again, and the prices felt far too high for what was served. We also ordered the beef in pepper sauce, but the beef was tough and chewy rather than tender and enjoyable. The seafood noodles were equally disappointing – the seafood was chewy, the dish lacked flavour, and overall it was quite tasteless. It’s such a shame because we had such fond memories of the original restaurant and chose this venue to celebrate a special family occasion. Unfortunately, the quality of the food no longer reflects what madeZumuko so special in the past. Based on this experience, we would not return or recommend it to others.”

  “Wonderful evening, with great friendly service and fabulously delicious food. The sushi was perfect it virtually melted in our mouths. The restaurant team were so welcoming and friendly it made the evening a true pleasure. Would definitely recommend a meal here. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you ☺️”

  “had dinner last night and was thoroughly impressed,and the presentation was beautiful.The atmosphere is welcoming, and ZAIN ALI were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. It's a great spot for both casual lunches and dinner dates. I will definitely be coming back soon!”

  “Had a wonderful experience at Zumuku Sushi on Wilmslow Road! The sushi was fresh and delicious, the food quality was excellent, and the ambience was perfect for a relaxing meal. Special thanks to Zain Ali for his outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and truly the best! Highly recommend this place for great food and a fantastic dining experience. 🍣😊”

  “The food was lovely and I would definitely go back however the service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to wait to be seated which was frustrating as we had a table booked and with 5 children in tow this was a little annoying and then we had to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. The service itself was fine, the lady we had was helpful however the gentleman was not, I think they're understaffed and perhaps struggle with the bigger parties so I'd advise go as a small group or as a couple.”
