About Champs Sports Bar & Grill
Champs Sports Bar & Grill is a sports bar on Dunnock Dr in Washington, set up for live sport with 36 TVs and a big screen. A heated outdoor canopy has its own TVs, so there are screens outside as well. The kitchen runs a grill menu with burgers, pizza and hanging kebabs, plus ciabatta sandwiches such as the BBQ Bourbon Brisket. Pizzas come in a 20 inch size that can be split half and half, and mains are served with chips, salad and coleslaw. Drinks centre on a large selection of draught lagers and ciders. Orders are placed at the bar rather than taken at the table. A pool table and darts are also on site.

Customer Review Summary
The main complaint is the ordering set-up. One first-time visitor found no table service and a QR code that did not work, then described the meat pizza as reheated frozen and the potato skins as soft and greasy. Another found the BBQ bourbon brisket ciabatta a bit dry, and onion rings were called a little under seasoned.

“My husband and I went for bottomless brunch with two friends. The selection of drinks were amazing! Jess our server was fantastic!! The drinks continued to flow, we were never left without one. The 20 inch pizza was really tasty, we opted for the half half inferno and margarita! Thank you! 100% recommend! BEST BOTOMLESS we have ever been too.”

“Busy pub even on a Monday night but still managed to get a seat, seems to play sports matches and is frequented by the locals. Noted drinkers, eaters and family parties alike, lighting was a little dull, maybe to allow folk to watch the TV. Services was functional and friendly, order at the bar. Diverse menu. Food was great wholesome food. I went for the salt and chili chicken ciabatta, was flavourful, tasty nice chunky slaw, big dunking bowl of Chinese curry sauce. Huge portion of chips too, great for polishing off the sauce. Side of of onion rings seem fresh made, big hoops too nice tempura batter, not like the frozen ones although they were a little under seasoned. Would recommend for some scran if passing by.”
