Customer Review Summary
Pad thai is the dish reviewers return to most, with one praising the prawn version and another calling it the real thing after years in Thailand. Close behind are the beef salad, the spicy noodles with generous duck and vegetables, and the somtam. Coconut rice, satay chicken skewers, green chicken curry with egg fried rice and vegetable pad krapow with the spice kept hot also earn mentions. A coeliac diner who is also dairy free describes being listened to, with separate fryers for the Thai crackers, and others note the host helps with allergies. Delivery is described as on time with status updates. One critical review found the beef chewy in both the fried noodles and the fried rice, the thick gravy noodles bland, the fried rice oily, and the portions overpriced. A different diner wanted more satay sauce. One suggests reserving because the room was full. Two birthday parties recall staff singing, and one was brought a whole cake with a candle.

“What a great find. Friendly host happy to advise on choices, ready to help with allergies/intolerances and fantastic food. A wide selection. I will definitely be back. Sept 26 - I got back! Fantastic again. Had Vegetable Pad Krapow (Thai style for spice, perfectly hot) loved it.”

“Went in for lunch after the half marathon race. We’re not locals so booked this place after reading lovely reviews, and Thai being our favourite cuisine. The food was so poor though. So poor. Menu felt unauthentic, badly described too. Asked for clarification on a few things but got confused. The garlic chicken stir fry was diabolical. The chicken tasted off - smelt like stinky socks or feet it was so so odd. That was taken off the bill. The fried noodle in thick Thai gravy was very strange, even though it sounded nice, just wasn’t tasty and the beef inside that dish and the fried rice beef dish was super chewy and poor quality. Only the prawn fried rice was nice but the chunks of vegetables were massive! So massively overpriced for what you get. £15 for chewy beef/ oily fried rice is ridiculous. Service was good, and the daughter of the owners was smiley and attentive. We were the only customers in there, felt like all quality just went out the window. Disappointed after reading good reviews!”

“A huge thankyou to this restaurant coming to my rescue after I had walked out of another local restaurant due to allergy questions, as a coeliac who is gluten and dairy free I don't assume restaurants can cater and had done my research- but after a bad experience around the corner, what a delight it was to be welcomed, listened to and given lovely fresh options. He himself has allergies and understands the need for seperate fryers for simple things like thai crackers (amazing btw!) I was a little limited on starter choices so opted for a beef salad - and then a huge selection of main courses to choose from, massaman/thai and penang curries to sweet and sour to pad krapow and stir frys rice noodles and amazing coconut rice. I instantly relaxed once I knew he understood my concerns and was a lovely guy who was happy to chat- we will be back!”

“We ordered a takeaway that was delivered exactly within the time that was specified, we received notifications updating us on the status of the order and was able to track the driver that was delivering the order. It was the first time that our friends had eaten food from here and they’re so impressed that they have said that this restaurant is a definite must do!”

“I ordered take out last night for the first time and it was absolutely delicious - my go tos are the beef salad and the spicy noodles...I was a little concerned about how the salad would travel but I needn't have worried as both dishes were as spectacular as they would have been in the restaurant - even the boxes they come in make it stand out from everywhere else! The noodles were a really generous portion and there was a ton of duck & vegetables - well worth paying a little extra for. Needless to say I'll be making this a regular treat. Thanks guys although you've ruined me for every other Thai vendor as nowhere comes close!”
