Quick info
About Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Stockton Heath
Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Stockton Heath is a pizza restaurant in Warrington, on Walton Rd. The kitchen makes its dough on site each day, leaves it to double ferment for 24 hours, and cooks each pizza in 60 seconds, producing a soft, floppy Naples-style base. Garlic pizza and salami pizza both appear on the menu, and a garlic aioli dip is served with the pizza. Stools sit in front of the kitchen where the pizzas are prepared, and a loft conversion upstairs adds further seating. The space is smallish, and walk-ins are taken without a reservation. The team asks about allergies and handles allergy requests. The restaurant carries the same theme as the other Rudy's restaurants in the UK.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the pizza itself, with a soft, flavourful base and generous toppings, and several single out the garlic aioli dip, with one noting the garlic dip is not skimped on. The buratta and Caesar salad get a mention, as do desserts and drinks. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, including one who handled allergies well, and a pizza maker who gave a young child a piece of dough to play with. Reviewers like the warm, cozy room and the upstairs seating, though one says it gets very loud when busy.

“I arrived without a reservation as I was trying to get away from the world cup that was being shown in the hotel where I was staying along with the poor standard of food the hotel served. I was greeted warmly and found a table immediately despite being busy. The waitress Alexa introduced herself and asked if I had any allergies and took my order promptly and was engaging throughout. The pizza arrived and was piping hot. It tasted delicious and was full of flavours and toppings. Alexa checked everything was ok and asked if I wished to have another drink. Although the restaurant was busy all the staff were polite and helpful and no one was left waiting. I've visited a few of the locations now and this certainly rates in the top 3. Great service from all, we'll done.”

“Visited Rudy's early evening last week and was pretty disappointed. The food was very good but a friend and I had our conversation interrupted 4 times to ask if we wanted to box the food we were still eating to take away. It was still pretty early, and there were plenty of spare tables, so it's not like they were desperate for our table. By the 5th time it happened we decided to let them clear the food and we skipped desert and another bottle of wine and decided to leave..... We'd both had enough of what felt like being 'hassled' and we went elsewhere to finish our evening. Can't fault the food, but jeez you need to get your staff to let the customers talk and enjoy their meal. Probably won't bother going again. Sadly.”

“We had such a lovely experience dining here, made truly memorable by Charlie, the young man preparing the pizzas. We were seated on stools right in front of the kitchen, which turned out to be the best seat in the house. Watching Charlie work was fascinating he handled the dough with such care, precision, and attention to detail. What really stood out, though, was his kindness. When he noticed our 6yo daughter watching in awe, he kindly offered her a piece of dough to play with. That simple gesture absolutely made her dayand ours too. It was such a thoughtful and genuine moment that we won’t forget. Charlie was polite, warm, and clearly passionate about what he does. It’s rare to come across service that feels so personal and heartfelt. Thank you for making our visit so special we’ll definitely be back!”

“Rudy's manage to keep the same kind of theme across their restaurant's in the UK this one is no different but I like the upstairs loft conversion. Pizza was spot on as always and on the plus side this particular restaurant is not tight with the garlic dip.”

“Amazing service especially when it came to allergies, pizza was fantastic and very well priced for the size and quality. Drinks were great and desserts were amazing too. Staff were lovely, very friendly. Only downside it when its busy its very loud as its not the biggest of places but had a great time and will definitely come again!”

“For us it’s all about the pizza. Just like in Naples, our dough is made on site every day, takes 24 hours to double ferment and just 60 seconds to cook. It is soft, light and floppy… so fold for strength or tuck in with a knife and fork. Enjoy.”
