Customer Review Summary

Coffee is the most frequent draw, called delicious, good and plentiful, and reviewers pair it with fresh cakes and tea and cake stops. Breakfast comes close behind, with freshly cooked, hot food and a good-sized brunch, and one diner was torn between the breakfast and the fish finger sandwiches. Dogs are welcome, one visitor got a puppacino, and others mention the outdoor garden seating, the local arts and crafts on sale, and a large car park that fitted a camper van. The recurring complaint is opening hours. One reviewer arrived twice and found it closed, after 2pm and on a Monday, and another mentions limited opening times. A brunch diner found no black pudding, said reaching the cafe through a clothes shop hurt the ambience, and wanted a better flow at the till. One reviewer remembers returning a tray and being told by a staff member to bring their marigolds next time, which made the visit extra special.

“We had a brunch at Ginnys. It was a good size and reasonably priced. No black pudding option unfortunately. The restraunt is accessed thriugh a clothes shop which does not help the ambience and could do with a decour uplift. Perhaps a clear decision restraunt or clothes shop but not both. Service was good although the till arrangement could be improved to ceate a better flow.”

“Cycling along the Wylye valley has always been great. Having Ginny's Café to stop at makes it a top choice when I'm riding from Bath to Chandler's Ford. Coffee good, food tasty, plenty of places to sit, bike is safe...what's not to like?”

“Just been to this amazing cafe. Lovely venue. Welcoming, clean and prompt service. We had breakfast and the food was exceptional, freshly cooked and good quality. Coffee was good and plentiful. Great value for money. The food arrives lovely and hot, make sure you eat straight away and not let it get cold.😊 We will definitely return. Also dog friendly. 🐕”

“Very friendly cafe, with delicious coffee and fresh cakes. Visited Easter Sunday and found the staff welcoming and helpful. The coffee was of an excellent flavour and the cakes fresh and scrumptious. They even sell second hand clothes and dog treats are available. I returned our tray and was thanked and the lady suggested I bring my “marigolds” next time. This made me laugh and made our visit extra special.”
