  “Absolutely horrible food! I explicitly asked about the seasoning and sauces and my food arrived drenched in a disgusting spicy sauce (even though I explicitly said I don’t want a spicy food). Absolutely everything we purchased arrived spicy and covered in a sauce. I won’t ever do the mistake of wasting my money there again.”

  “​I had a great experience at Pepe's Walsall! The food quality and service were both top-notch. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality of the food definitely justifies it. ​I ordered the chicken burrito wrap in lemon & herb, but asked to mix in some hot sauce, it was super flavoursome with just the right kick! Paired it with peri salted chips which were fantastic, and a side of sweet chilli sauce that completed the meal perfectly. ​The service was really quick, and you can pay by either cash or card. There is car parking available on-site, just make sure to enter your car registration on the screen by the till to avoid any fines! ​Overall, highly recommended and I'll definitely be visiting again.”

  “Visited late on Wednesday night after the football (around 11pm), and I have to say I was really impressed. From the moment I walked in, the whole team knew exactly what they were doing. The person taking the order was friendly and efficient, and you could see the kitchen staff working together like a well-organised team. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, even though it was late at night. The half peri peri chicken was absolutely delicious – cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavour. The chicken wrap was also cooked perfectly and there was nothing wrong with it at all. It just wasn’t quite to my personal taste as I think I prefer fried chicken in a wrap rather than grilled chicken, but that’s purely my own preference, not a criticism of the food. Overall, I had a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Next time I’ll try something different instead of the wrap. Keep up the great work, everyone!”

  “Do NOT recommend. The server was very convoluted for no reason. Was unable to accommodate my mothers dietary requirements. The food tasted as if it had come from the bin and the rice smelt of actual vomit 🤢. Defo the worst pepes I've ever been too and I love pepes. Had to bin the food as was not suitable for human consumption.”

  “Ordered through uber eats. The chicken and rice box barely had enough sauce as there usually is. The rice was mostly dry and not covered in sauce. The chicken strips I got the sauce had leaked out of the bag making the chicken dry. The sauce had leaked though the main delivery bag too. The garlic mayo had also leaked in the bag too and on the drinks.”

  “OMG, Pepe Chicken was soooo good! Their chicken pieces were absolutely delicious, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Even my picky toddlers loved the mozzarella sticks, which says a lot! Definitely a place we would visit again while visiting England.”

  “Pepe’s is one of those places that varies heavily depending on what branch you’re in. But this one has consistently been very impressive. Food is always tasty and fresh. The quality has not dipped in the many years it’s been open. Chicken XL, chicken wrap, and the rice box and must haves. Always a pleasant experience. Bit on the pricey side though”

  “I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. Every single visit is a reminder of why it’s my go-to spot; the food is consistently delicious, served fresh, and always packed with incredible flavor. Their peri-peri is truly in a league of its own—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and signature seasoning that keeps me coming back for more. The portions are incredibly generous, ensuring you always leave fully satisfied, and you can tell they take real pride in the quality of their ingredients. Beyond the fantastic menu, the service is what really sets this location apart. I am always greeted with such warmth and professionalism. In particular, one of the staff members who regularly serves me provides an outstanding level of hospitality; she is attentive, efficient, and genuinely goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. She is a credit to the team and absolutely deserves five stars ⭐️ for her service alone! If you’re looking for high-quality food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. Always a 10/10 experience!”

  “I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to after how disappointed I was with my visit to this Pepe’s. I ordered a large meal and paid extra for it, but was only given a regular drink. When I poured it into the large cup myself, it filled barely halfway — I even have a photo to prove it. I also paid for extra mayo but was only given two mayo dips. When I politely asked for more (even offering to pay again), the lady — who I believe is the manager, Tahera Roza — gave me a look like I’d asked for something unreasonable. On top of that, there was hardly any mayo on my food to begin with. We ended up waiting 32 minutes for our food, and no one mentioned it would take that long. If she had just told us it’d be over 30 minutes, we would’ve been more than happy to wait — we completely understand these things happen. But the lack of communication and her attitude made the experience really frustrating. It was also hard to enjoy eating in because the manager kept shouting across the restaurant. I’ve even seen Uber Eats drivers arguing with her about wait times and attitude, so clearly this isn’t a one-off. And to top it off, when I was leaving and tapped the Google review card near the counter, she said something in her own language — which felt rude and completely unprofessional. This branch used to be my regular spot, but after today, I won’t be coming back. Really hope Pepe’s management looks into this.”
