  “We really enjoyed our experience; our waitress, Vanessa, really made our evening!! Amazing service with the perfect mix of friendly banter and politeness. The food was lovely. Our group had a few dietary requirements and Vanessa made sure everything was taken care of with no complaints. Will definitely be back soon!!”

  “We had a faultless experience this evening for my son's 11th birthday celebrations. There were 11 of us & Vanessa couldn't have done more to make our experience 5 star. She was funny, attentive, helpful & an all round pretty brilliant waitress. She's a credit to your branch!! The food was delicious & it all came out really quickly. Nothing but impressed! Thank you 😊”

  “11 of us went for an early dinner tonight at Pizza Express T.Wells. We were celebrating our nephews birthday and Vanessa couldn't have been a better waitress! She looked after us all so well and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed at all times. The food was fantastic as always and the service just topped off a lovely evening. Thank you 😊”

  “Sat outside on the terrace for our main course and inside for coffee & dessert .Staff were polite ,helpful and attentive.Special mention to Sorin our lovely waiter .Had not visited a Pizza Express venue in a long time but recommend the fresh salads ,macaroni cheese ,iced cold Aperol Spritz and mascarpone & fig dessert ! Will def return .”

  “This has to be one of the rudest experiences I have had at a restaurant, I was walking down the high street hungry and popped in to see if they had a table on the off chance. Yes it was Saturday night so I assumed that they would be busy, but there are plenty of other restaurants around. The host was immediately agitated spent about 5 minutes looking and said that they had no space. I smiled said no problem and walked out. He then followed me out and shouted in the street next time book in the rudest possible way. I can guarantee that I will not be booking at this chain restaurant.”

  “My hubby and I have been going to Pizza Express for nearly five decades. They still make the best pizzas around. Always tasty, always reliable. The Veneziana is my favourite. Certainly not as cheap as some pizza places... but then, have you ever tasted a Dominos Pizza. :-(”

  “They were not dog friendly which is fair enough… so we decided to order a collection to take out (as we were struggling to find a restaurant in Tunbridge wells that’s dog friendly) which we were happy to do. We did it on the app and booked in a time slot. We waited around outside out the way and at the designated time slot went inside to try and collect, the lady didn’t even check any names and just gave me a random order, which i asked if the drinks were in there too which she in a very rude tone replied well you didn’t order drinks, so i looked at the label and it was a random just eat order they just tried to make me take instead of the food i ordered which was of a much higher value. I told her it wasn’t my order and explained my order. she told me i was going to have to wait then even thought it was now past the collection time. I went back outside and at this point it started raining we had already been there a while and to be honest just wanted some food. After 10 mins i went back in and was completely ignored and the restaurant wasn’t even busy and the lady who was meant to be doing my order seemed to just not be doing nothing and i saw two pizza boxes which were open just sat there for at least 15 mins. After finally receiving my order the pizzas were cold. it was an appalling experience and i will never go back here again and will definitely not order online on the app”

  “we had dinner as a family tonight, all staff were lovely and friendly, we were greeted by manager, not sure of her name, ginger hair, where she seated us, our waitress was attentive and friendly, food arrived quickly and was delicious, amazing service”

  “Perfect lunch out. Greeted at the door, served quicky, food delicious, staff friendly. Tip was optional. Also a decent looking place with lots of seats upstairs and outside too.”

  “A really nice building with a well done interior, especially for pizza express. The service was quick even though there were eight of us, the waiter was the best and I've ever had with some fantastic humour. The food was relatively good quality, I had the meats sharing plate for starter and gelato for dessert. Its a pizza express, you get what you expect. I am dropping one star because of the melted ice cream that was served to me for dessert and them putting the mains down before collecting starter plates. All in all, really enjoyable, makes it a good pizza express for the building and the waiter we had.”
