  “Visited this restaurant/ takeaway years ago and it was amazing 🤩 This time not so much, outside looked the same. Called ahead which was not good, lady could not understand my surname "chan" which amused me (not) Chicken curry boiled rice and portion of chips. Can't go wrong. Curry tasted like old school Chinese curry which was nice chicken a little over cooked, boiled rice top marks and the chips like 1990s typical frozen chips from your local Chinese takeaway Service just not the what you expect when u call or walk into a Chinese eatery. Blonde scruffy looking female showing more skin than you would expect at a beach party. The inside looks well run down, no more restaurant just a black curtain covering the doorway, shame really this was a really good place to eat. Lots of hand written menu like a school child has done for their parents. Menu looked like they trying to be something and change with the times.”

  “Only place that was open at 930. Price was ok. Flavour was very mediocre at best. Prawn crackers were terrible- only oily with no actual flavour.”

  “Schlimmstes China-Restaurant! Laden sieht nicht einladend aus. Essen vor Ort geht auch nicht. Das Essen ist ebenfalls eine Katastrophe und ich frage mich wie dieser Laden jemals eine gute Bewertung bekommen konnte.”

  “Good, hearty portions of food and cheery service, but I was caught out by the surprise packaging of really nice chilli and salt spare ribs, complete with cooking juices (as they should be), but in a cardboard pizza box which leaked on to my cloth car seat. Ouch....”

  “The food is shocking! If you don’t want to be chewing until next year don’t eat it! Oil and salt is all your getting along with your cardboard. The sauce is jelly, makes me wonder how long it’s been sitting. It’s cash or bank transfer… but …”

  “Had a fantastic meal from Charlie Chan's tonight. The takeaway and delivery staff are so friendly and the food arrived freshly cooked before the estimated delivery time. The Singapore noodles are amazing and are the best I've had. My partner had chicken and char sui egg foo young and thought it was brilliant. After a long day exploring it was a bonus they delivered to Thurso camp and caravan site. Would highly recommend”
