Customer Review Summary

Shawarma draws the most mentions, one reviewer calling it the best in Thirsk while another found the chicken version dry and sawdust-like. Others praise hot, tasty parmos, crispy chips and a creamy cabbage side. Garlic mushrooms were called dry and tasting of nothing. A wrong order was first blamed on the customer, and one delivery never arrived, ending in a refund through Foodhub.

“Found this little gem. 3rd time we've ordered from Milano pizzeria. And it was amazingly good every time. Nice and hot. Very tasty parmo's. Crispy chips. And my personal favourite is the side order creamy cabbage. Portion size is decent. The special box meals are reasonably priced for what you get. Would highly recommend.”

“Bought/Ordered for delivery a pizza via the Foodhub app from these charlatans and never got it…, they called several times to ask where we were located.., on the Thirsk Racecourse camping grounds! It’s less than half a mile from their premises and still they never came. Ended up contacting Foodhub direct who helped get my money returned - 11/2 hours and still nothing and they asked if I still wanted the cold rubbery bloody Pizza! NO, NO! Thank you Foodhub bollocks Milano bloody Pizzeria!”

“Don't order the garlic mushrooms! Literally, dry, deep fried mushrooms. Taste of nothing, obviously deep fried (I was a chef I can tell) Everything else was fine, but 5 quid for deep fried mushrooms not so much”

“I recently ordered from Mialons Pizza Shop in Thirsk and was quite disappointed with the experience. I had the chicken shawarma, which unfortunately was very dry and lacked flavour—it honestly had a sawdust-like texture that made it difficult to enjoy. My partner ordered the cheese chips, which were just about average and nothing special. Overall, the food didn’t meet our expectations, and we were left feeling underwhelmed. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on this experience, I’m not sure we’d rush back.”

“My order came but was wrong, firstly they tried to tell me i ordered it that way. The gentleman on the phone then just said he would get it right next time. I used to use them about twice a month but now i won't use them again. Very bad customer service”
