“First time in Thirsk and this is the first place we found. What a place! The tearoom upstairs is perfect and I was offered a veggie sausage and fried egg roll. It was delicious and the roll was huge! Hubby had 2 scones, jam and cream. Coffee and tea were really great, the tea in a lovely teapot with a gorgeous cup and saucer. Very friendly and helpful staff. The shop downstairs is very nice as well. Can not recommend enough! 😄”

“Food was superb but we waited 15 minutes after finishing for someone to take an order for coffee and cake but nobody came.They were well staffed and It wasn't busy at all.When we went to pay we were asked if it was ok ,yes but we wanted coffee and cake but nobody came over, to which she replied well you should have shouted.First time I've been told that in a tearoom with table service.sorry won't be back.”
