  “Arrived for a breakfast bagel on a Sunday morning. Bearing in mind they have a menu of filled bagels and coffee, so not complex ingredients! I was told there were no eggs for the breakfast bagel. Fine, I asked for extra bacon. The other item I ordered, bacon and tomato chutney, no tomato chutney. Fine, substituted with onion chutney. If you don’t cook streaky bacon well, you get jelly fat. Totally inedible. Went in to get a glass of water after I had got my food to see they have just cooked a batch of eggs. Why not just say eggs will be a 10 min wait?! Not worth complaining to the Gen Z’ers working there as it was a given they don’t care about good service.”

  “Excellent coffee. Relaxed atmosphere and quiet too. Often coffee shops are noisy, but even with lots of people seated it felt really chilled.”

  “An independent coffee shop with good quality coffee and food. Not the place for a cheap bite. Their bagels are tasty, although I've knocked it down to 4* because the bacon was very tough and egg overdone. But no doubt it is high quality produce and excellent to eat on a good day. Lots of sweet pastried to pick from, merch and coffee beans available to purchase as well.”

  “The best coffee in Taunton. So good to have an option in Taunton that focuses on coffee first, something we'd been waiting on for a few years. They also sell beans from a variety of roasters, and we attended a cupping session with Skylark Coffee which was very interesting, it was good to meet and spend time with other coffee people. Thanks 915!”

  “A welcome addition to the Taunton area. An independent coffee shop which, in my opinion, excells in a way that the coffee chains don't. Started by good friends, Tom Lammonby and Sam Maunder, 9/15 takes its name from the number 9 of Exeter Chiefs (rugby, Sam) and the number 15 of Somerset (cricket, Tom). Ably assisted by a good team, amongst them is Ben, a master of the swirly, the pattern on top of the coffee. A selection of teas is also available. Hot and cold snackages are offered in abundance and it's worth noting that dogs 🐕 are also very welcome.”

  “Very welcome alternative to the coffee chains in town. Simplistic decor creates a welcome space with decent amount of seating - at tables or bar style along the windowed front. Enjoyed the coffee, didn’t try any of the many food and snack options”

  “After a long time living away from Taunton but visiting frequently I’ve been waiting for the coffee scene to catch up and this crew have hit the nail on the head. Really pleased to have walked by and noticed it, lovely staff, great space, great coffee. Food looked lush. Go support.”
