Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw, with reviewers calling the portions massive and describing a real breakfast at a fair price. Close behind is the halal range, where one family praised the halal chicken dinner, a well done halal rump steak and halal kids' meals, along with a caramel frappe, a passion fruit drink and fruit smoothies. A Sunday dinner and a delivery order that arrived hot also earn praise, and several mention friendly staff, quick service and a clean, family-friendly room with plenty of space. The one complaint is a 1-star account of a corn beef pie with pastry that looked undercooked and had a plasticine texture, and potato pieces that were grey, as if peeled and left standing. That reviewer recalls the diner once being one of the best. Most others describe hot, filling plates and leaving full.

“We haven't been in but we ordered on just eat and had delivery. Oh my goodness....the food is absolutely amazing and was still very hot which is really impressive. Will definitely order again....and want to go visit the place. I've put no wait for a table as we didn't go there....but we didn't have to wait long for the delivery...maybe half hour....and that's not bad considering we live near parc tawe....and the food tasted really fresh and gorgeous.”

“We visited the Uplands Diner just after 9am this morning and were one of the first customers in. I came with my partner and our little boy, and from the moment we arrived the atmosphere was really welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable straight away. Service was quick but we never felt rushed, which was great when you have a child with you. The food was excellent – fresh, well cooked and good portions. It’s clear they take pride in what they serve. The diner itself was clean, relaxed and a really nice place to start the day. It’s great to find somewhere that’s both family-friendly and serves such good food. We’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend Uplands Diner to anyone looking for a great breakfast and friendly service.”
