“Went yesterday and wished I did not. The prices- £57 for 2 people. Two mains, 2 sides and 2 soft drinks. If the food was amazing then fair enough, but it was barely edible and had my wife throwing up. The portion sizes would be sufficient if I you were a toddler (fried rice is £5 and is served in a tiny cup, barely covering a third of the plate). Lastly the atmosphere- the decorations are nice but I struggled to get the smell out of my nose. Old wood mixed with body odor is how I’d describe it. So if you plan on having a full meal, starter/main/side/drink you’ll easily be £40/£50. I mean, £19 for 4 burnt satay skewers?”

“The food itself was pretty average, nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing that would make me rush back either. That said, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us, which was definitely the highlight of the visit. What really surprised (and disappointed) us was the pricing. After ordering, we noticed that the exact same dishes on the takeaway menu were £7.50, yet we were charged £17.50 each to sit in. That’s a 133% increase for the same meal, which feels excessive by any standard. It also explained why the restaurant was completely empty by the time we left. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t make the same mistake again and I’d strongly recommend checking the takeaway prices before deciding to dine in. It’s quite embarrassing that there’s such a huge markup for sitting in.”
