About The Quayside
The Quayside is a seafood restaurant in Stourport On Severn, set on a marina quayside at Sandy Lane Industrial Estate. The fresh fish menu follows the daily catch, with meat and vegetarian dishes alongside, and a complimentary mixed salad arrives before the fish course. The fish ordered includes Parmesan-crusted halibut, Dover sole and a Sizzler of crevettes, mussels and scallops in garlic butter. Garlic bread is offered with the fish dishes, and sides run from new potatoes and mixed veg to chunky chips and dauphinoise potatoes. The restaurant is licensed and has indoor seating. It opens Wednesday to Saturday and is closed Sunday through Tuesday. Reservations are required. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Fresh fish is the draw, above all the Parmesan-crusted halibut, which reviewers repeatedly describe as perfectly cooked. Close behind are the hake fillet with chunky chips, a turbot one diner chose on the chef's advice, Dover sole, and a sizzler of crevettes, mussels and scallops in garlic butter. One reviewer praises the fish stew and another recommends the Singapore seafood. Portions are called very generous, even ginormous, and several mention a complimentary salad brought before the fish course. The marina setting with indoor and outdoor seating gets frequent praise, and diners note the chef coming out to chat and check on the food. Service is described as friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and one reviewer liked the fish-shaped spoon served with the coffee. The one reservation comes from a reviewer who found the linguini portion too big and would have preferred no Parmesan over the top. One couple report that the kitchen forgot their crevettes and insisted they have them free.

“Up there with one of the BEST meals we've ever had! From arriving staff we're spot on, explained how the menu worked etc, Complementary salad and water when we were seated. Honestly seafood better than abroad. I highly recommend the Singapore seafood. Plenty of parking”

“Lovely food and atmosphere. The linguini portion was too big, it’s a bit off-putting, and I’d have liked not to have parmesan over the top. Can’t complain as we were treated.”

“What a find! Excellent food, exceptional service and a beautiful marina setting. The Parmesan-crusted halibut was the best fish I’ve ever eaten—perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The restaurant was immaculate and it’s clear that great care is taken in every detail. I loved the fish-shaped spoon served with the coffee, a lovely touch that reflects the character of this family-run business. A special mention to Dylan for his friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fantastic seafood, genuine hospitality and a wonderful dining experience. Thank you 🤩”

“Food was absolutely beautiful I had The Hake fillet and it was cooked to perfection seasoned well and came with chunky chips and veg and garlic bread but there were also for dauphinois potatoes or new potatoes.my girlfriend had the sizzler with crevettes, mussels and scallops in a garlic butter with fries and crusty bread. We had a complimentary salad which was also tasty. The drinks selection was great too even rattler on draft and I love a talisker after dinner which they had - what a treat.. The ambience was perfect we literally kept saying we felt like we were on holiday in Cornwall. The chef even came out to say hi and check everyone was happy with the food. His ethos around not wasting food was to be commended. We have shared our experience with quite a few people already and will continue to do so.. and of course we will definitely be going back again soon I can’t fault it..”

“OMG what a gem. Drive through an industrial place to find the quayside by the marina. Food is unbelievable. Big portions, excellent cooking of the fish by the honest chef, he forgot the crevettes & insisted we still have them free. I had parmesan halibut & hubby had Dover sole, both were excellent. It's the 2nd time we drove here, it's a one hour drive & I would definitely return & I would recommend.”
