  “Nice enough cafe for a bit of lunch, I got the soup and sandwich which was filling. The soup and sandwich tasted nice, but I asked before ordering if the soup was blended and was told it was, when it came out it had mixed frozen veg in not blended which I didn't enjoy.”

  “Beautiful atmosphere calm and relaxing lovely staff and the food is affordable they have a delicious English breakfast with a lovely old fashioned milkshake. I’m so happy I came to this place as it was the best decision and would come here again!”

  “Absolutely the best place to come and treat you and your family to something to eat morning or afternoon. Portions are massive, good produce used, decent prices, attention to detail, pretty views as is upstairs, worth the climb up.”

  “This is a lovely place to eat in Southport. If you are in the area definitely recommend it to others and visit yourself. Prices are more than reasonable, friendly staff, fresh food and it's very clean. The decoration is perfect.”

  “Fabulous traditional tea room. We got there late and they said they would give us till 4.15 Coffee/tea and scones all round served by a lovely lady dress up in black with traditional white apron . Scones came with jam and clotted cream, yummy. I would like to return to try more of the menu.”

  “We used to eat here years ago and thought we would give it a go again, hearing it was under new management I was worried it wouldn’t be as good, to our surprise it was even better, 3 X full English with perfectly poached eggs, all meet well done as requested, excellent presentation on the plate, the biggest pot of tea I’ve ever seen included in the price of the meal, fantastically comfy chairs and amazing view and best of all the most wonderfully friendly staff, I even popped my head through the serving hatch to thank the chef who was a lovely smiley lady, definitely worth a visit this is our new Thursday breakfast eatery, also there cake selection was amazing especially the scones, visit don’t think about it just go”

  “Had a fantastic brunch at the Nostalgia Tea rooms and sad to to see the notice the owners will be retiring at the end of April and wish them all best of luck and for new owners. The service was excellent and a great cooked breakfast and afternoon tea had by all! Loved the decor and downtown abbey style clothes the waitresses wore. Wonderful experience.”
